Yesterday, September 13th, a staff member discovered a hidden video camera inside a unisex bathroom in the backstage area of our Brighton Campus. Will Johnson, our former Worship Pastor Director, confessed that he placed it there and was immediately terminated.

We chose not to live stream our services today due to the sensitive nature of our conversation and to focus on caring for our church family. We are shocked and deeply saddened by this crime and violation of our community. The protection, safety, and privacy of every person who enters our church is our priority. We are fully cooperating with the sheriff’s office as this is an ongoing investigation.”

Johnson’s behaviour has evoked anger and revulsion among the community, with several users slamming the pastor’s disgusting behaviour on Facebook.

One user stated:

“You’re a fraud and a disgrace. I pray everyone affected by your disgusting actions is able to heal and feel safe at their church with you gone.”
