ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) – Democratic vice presidential nominee Governor Tim Walz is making a campaign stop Tuesday in Asheville.
It is the first campaign stop for Walz in Asheville. Vice President Kamala Harris held rallies in Charlotte and Greensboro last week as the two Democrats vie for votes in the battleground state of North Carolina.
Walz will appear before a crowd of about 2,500 people, according to the Harris-Walz campaign.

Walz made campaign stops in Macon, Georgia and Atlanta earlier Tuesday.
Donald Trump made a stop in Asheville in mid-August.
