The unusual picks were shared in a Reddit group dedicated to name shaming.
A Reddit user re-posted a screenshot from TikTok, which saw the mum introducing her infant son.
She revealed that his name is Trapper and told her followers it was OK if they didn’t like it because she does.
“His name is WHAT?” the Reddit user captioned the post, before hinting that the mum’s moniker was even worse.
Readers spotted the woman’s unique name in her TikTok account handle.
The Utah-based mum’s name is Cashlynn, which the poster described as a “bonus.”
Reddit users shared their thoughts on both names in the comments section.
“Cashlynn and Trapper sound like a stripper and plug duo,” pointed out one reader.
“I bet his older brother is named Plug,” agreed a second Reddit user.
“I taught two cousins named Hunter and Trapper. I’ll bet you can’t guess how redneck their family was,” said another commenter.
“There were brothers at my high school that were named Hunter and Trapper,” shared one reader.
Others said they weren’t surprised by the unique pick given the mum’s own name.
