However, a savvy shopper has revealed a little-known trick that can make your shopping even cheaper.

The budget fan, who is known as @two.islam on TikTok, has found that shoppers can actually get up to 80 per cent extra off certain products with a secret trick.

He took to TikTok to share a video of the shopping hack, and it has since gained over 561,000 views.

The TikToker captioned it: “How does NO one know about this?”

The video shows him doing a huge haul with his mum, and bagging extra deals by using the trick.

He says: “There’s a secret that B&M workers don’t want you to know but I’m here to expose it.

“Nearly everything that I picked up in this trolley was at least 50 to 80 per cent off.

“One of my friends used to work in B&M and they told me that they would rarely update the sale prices on items.”

He explained that shoppers will need to download the B&M app and scan every item that is wanted.

The bargain hunter revealed some examples of the discounts, including an air fryer on sale for £48 in-store but reduced to £30 on the app, a candle priced at £1 in-store but 25p on the app, a plant listed for £10 but discounted to £5 on the app, and a decorative accessory costing £7 in-store but just £1.50 on the app.

He says: “I swear this app is actually a cheek-hold.

“You need to come to B&M if you are redoing your house.”

He claimed that when he got to the till the value of his shop originally came to £280 but because he had the app to show what the prices were, he paid £151.74.

The video attracted lots of attention with over 160 people rushing to the comments section to ask further questions and share their thoughts.

One intrigued social media user wrote: “So what do you show them the app prices on the till or how does it work?”

To which @two.islam replied: “Sometimes at the till the sale price won’t reflect so what I did was scan it on the app in front of them and they changed it.”

Another said: “Yeh I had the same issue, they got the manager and then I paid the price on the app.”

A former B&M staff member wrote “Used to work there.

“True, I used to always tell customers to go and grab some more and buy some myself on my break.”

Someone else added: “Been doing this for years I’ve had loads of 10p items and £1.”
