Strictly’s Tasha Ghouri goes make-up free while Chris McCauseland shares a giggle with pro partner Dianne Buswell as they lead the stars heading to the studio ahead of the first live show

The stars of Strictly Come Dancing were out in force as they left their hotel and headed to Elstree Studios for the very first live show on Saturday.

Tasha Ghouri was at the forefront, looking radiant as she went makeup-free for the show and then got all dolled up.

The 26-year-old Love Island star, who recently revealed why she’s not worried about the Strictly curse, waved in a friendly manner as she sat in the back of a car.

Before heading inside, Tasha showed off her impressive figure in khaki green sportswear and a black leather jacket, while holding a cup of coffee.

Meanwhile, Chris McCauseland and his professional partner Dianne Buswell were in high spirits and left the hotel giggling.

With their luggage in hand, the 47-year-old blind comedian said something clearly funny, while the 35-year-old red-haired dancer tilted her head back and laughed heartily.

Dianne walked out with long legs carrying her suitcase. She was wearing a green shirt, very short shorts and black boots.

Meanwhile, Toyah Wilcox flashed a bright smile as she stepped out in a floral dress.

Dr. Punan Krishan seemed ready and eager to leave. He got into the car with a big smile on his face.

Barely able to contain her excitement about the upcoming show, Montell Douglas walked happily to her car.

Professional dancers Gorka Marquez, Aljaž Škorjanec and Neil Jones were also in top form ahead of the big live show.

On Saturday, all fifteen couples will perform for the first time in an attempt to convince the jury, after the couples were already announced last week.

Meanwhile, the first songs and dances from the new series have also been revealed, as this year’s couples prepare to make their BBC ballroom debuts.

Ahead of the live show on Saturday, presenter Tess Daly also gave fans a sneak peek of the dances they can expect.

She left a voicemail message to her husband Vernon Kay on his BBC Radio 2 show saying: ‘Hi Vern, the excitement is palpable in the studio today.

‘It’s really exciting because all 15 celebrities will be dancing live for the first time tomorrow night.

‘Costumes are being finalized, fake tans are being booked. We have sambas, two sambas, and the samba is challenging as the first dance, so that’s going to be really interesting.

‘We have cha cha’s, and when I say you can’t miss Paul Merson’s American Smooth, I promise I’m not kidding.

“We can’t wait for everyone to see all the hard work these brilliant celebrities have been putting into the training room, it’s going to be an amazing show! See you tomorrow at 7pm!”

Strictly’s 20th anniversary series has been somewhat tainted after the BBC programme became embroiled in scandal amid a year of controversy.

And the BBC failed to address the scandal during the launch episode, despite the results of the misconduct investigation still not being known.

It all started in October last year, when actress Amanda Abbington unexpectedly quit the show after alleging that her partner Giovanni Pernice was abusive.

The Sherlock actress has made a series of allegations about Giovanni’s teaching methods, describing his behaviour as ‘unnecessary, insulting, cruel and mean’. He has strongly denied all the allegations.

Giovanni, 33, has been suspended while the BBC investigates allegations made by Amanda and two other former celebrities.

With the report into his misconduct due to be released any day now, Amanda is reportedly deeply disappointed with BBC bosses who fear they are ‘protecting’ the dancer during the bullying investigation.

High-level meetings have been held between BBC bosses to work out how to present their findings, with fears of legal action from Amanda or Giovanni if ​​either of them is disappointed with the outcome.

After Giovanni, the show was hit by another scandal when Graziano Di Prima was fired in July for ‘kicking’ his partner, Love Island star Zara McDermott.
