Shocked Naga Munchetty ‘lost for words’ as BBC Breakfast co-star strips topless live on air

NAGA Munchetty was left ‘lost for words’ as her BBC colleague stripped live on air.

The 49-year-old was anchoring this morning’s BBC Breakfast alongside Charlie Stayt.

During the show viewers watched as the pair covered Dorset Museum’s naked viewing.

The event allows members of the public to wander around the galleries in the nip, baring all as they observe the artwork.

Commenting on the topic, stern Charlie told viewers: “So normally when you think of nudes in a museum, your mind would naturally wander to statues or maybe sculptures.”

Naga then added: “That mind change. A museum in Dorchester is literally bringing that idea to life. Recently it’s opening its doors to visitors who want to wander through its galleries after hours, completely naked.

“Why? Well, that’s what our reporter Steve Harris has been finding out.”

Beeb reporter Steve was live from the museum and joined Charlie, 61, and Naga via satellite.

He spoke to one naked man who said going around starkers “gives you a massive confidence to see normal people naked”.

But as the segment drew to a close, Steve revealed the museum was set to shut down – and he seized the opportunity to strip off.

He left Naga visibly stunned as he took off his blazer and shirt, exposing his bare hairy chest.

Steve said: “For now, this evening is a one-off. After tonight, the museum will be closed until further notice but I’m not going to miss out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. What’s that saying? When in Rome…”

Lost for words, Naga turned to her co-star Charlie, asking him: “Does that appeal to you?”

He swiftly replied: “No, I just think it’s great. People being happy, doing their thing. Why not?”

BBC Breakfast viewers at home were left amused following Naga’s reaction and flooded social media with comments.

One said: “Never seen @TVNaga01 lost for words before after the report on Dorset Museum!”

A second wrote: “Best thing I’ve seen on @bbcbreakfast in years, Naga’s face as a piece on a nude-friendly art gallery ended. Looked a bit like Dame Edna when she was shocked.”

“@TVNaga01 Well done for keeping a straight face earlier,” said a third.
