Mum-of-three Amanda Knowles has always gone for more traditional British brands, but now she’s tried the trend and shared her thoughts with Fabulous.
The 46-year-old Londoner has a “very busy household” between three teenagers and a “lively dog.”
“I absolutely love cleaning, you could say I’m a mega cleaning fan, which I know is a very strange sentence,” Amanda tells us.
“I love the satisfaction of a deep clean and the house smelling fresh.
“It is so satisfying after a heavy weekend having fun to reboot everything to sparkle again.”
In her effort maintain a sparkling house, the cleaning fanatic tried out five viral cleaning products from Spain.
ASEVI FLOOR CLEANER
For her first try, Amanda tested the £2.95 Asevi Floor Cleaner, which comes in a litre bottle.
“It only takes three tiny capfuls in a bucket of warm water, so already a five out of five for value,” she said.
“It does a super job of lifting dirt and dries without residue for a decent shine.”
However, Amanda pointed out a drawback to the effective cleaning product.
“For me, the only downside was the smell, unfortunately it overrides everything else,” she explained.
“It is like a heavy duty commercial anti bacterial smell and the promise of ‘intense scent’ delivered – just not the scent I like.”
She rated the floor cleaner a four out of five, adding that anyone who likes the smell would likely award it full marks.
Overall score: 4/5.
ASEVI LAUNDRY DETERGENT
Next, she shared her thoughts on the £5.49 Asevi Laundry Detergent, which is advertised as lasting for 44 washes.
“This is excellent, I made sure the load was fake tan and dirt-heavy and it lifted all stains on a 59 minute 40 degree wash,” Amanda said.
She explained that she didn’t use any additional stain remover in the load.
