34-year-old Joshua Daniel Stilwell of 12th Street Drive NW in Hickory was arrested September 11 by Burke County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with felony possession of a weapon by a felon.
Stilwell is a felon as a result of convictions in Burke and Catawba Counties in September, 2014. He was convicted in Burke County of felony counts of breaking & entering and larceny after breaking & entering. In Catawba County, Stilwell was convicted of attempted trafficking schedule I controlled substance, possession of a weapon on campus, and possession of a weapon of mass destruction.
Stilwell was arrested shortly before 1 a.m. on September 11. He is not listed as an inmate in Burke County. No court date is listed for the weapon charge. He has court dates scheduled for October 25 and November 1 on separate charges.
