On Thursday September 19, the Downtown Hickory Art Crawl will bring artists, art demonstrations, and music to downtown Hickory. Many artists and galleries will display their designs in a four-block area. There will be fabric art, pottery, paintings, woodworking, and more. The artwork is for sale.
Kick-off parties will begin at 5 p.m. at Full Circle Arts (42-B 3rd Street N.W.) and Trade Alley Arts (25 2nd Street N.W.). Maps of the Art Crawl route and the participants will be available. T-shirts will be available for purchase at the Hickory Downtown Development Association tent in the parking at Full Circle Arts.
As part of the Art Crawl, the Western Piedmont Symphony will hold their third Side/Show event in multiple downtown Hickory locations.
