20-year-old Alexander Broderick Teague of Beach Road in Granite Falls was arrested on Friday (September 13) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with one felony count statutory rape of a person younger than fifteen years old. Teague was jailed under $300,000 secured bond in the Caldwell County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in District Court on September 16.
