Full Circle Arts is inviting all artists in the area to enter their work in its next competition, “Chasing Shadows,” which will be on display October 31 through November 30. Artists should bring their work to Full Circle Arts, 42-B 3rd Street N.W. in downtown Hickory Friday, October 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., or Saturday, October 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The theme for the competition features shadows. Each artwork must incorporate shadows or cast a shadow within the image. Full Circle Arts looks for variety of media in all its exhibitions.
There are $600 in awards, plus honorable mention ribbons and people’s choice certificate. The show may be juried, depending on space available. The judge is to be determined. All art must be the original work of the submitting artist.
