(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said four suspects have been arrested related to a Robbery and Attempted Homicide investigation from an incident that happened on Sept. 9.
According to CSPD, on Tuesday, Sept. 17 detectives with the help of Metro Intel and Tactical Enforcement Unit contacted and arrested four suspects along with executing a search warrant in the 1300 block of Chaco Circle near South Circle Drive and East Fountain Boulevard.
Police said during a shoplifting incident on Monday, Sept. 9 a confrontation happened and turned physical, and a suspect produced a handgun and at least one round was fired at the victims before the suspects left the location.
The four arrested have been identified as 40-year-old Tece Heinzig, 30-year-old Brittany Butler, 33-year-old Onaeah Cali, and 38-year-old Omaraid Guerrero.
CSPD said all four suspects were taken into custody without incident.
