(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Florence Brewing Company and The Other Side at FBC are hosting its 9th annual Oktoberfest Event on the same day that the festival begins in Germany on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. until “dark-ish”.
Florence Brewing Company said the street would be closed to create a block party and food truck rally. The event would also feature live polka music by the Bill Emery Band, as well as beer games, including Stein Holding Competitions.
Food trucks include P-Dub’s Rolling Smokehouse, SoCo Chicken, and Lala’s Tacos. Florence Brewing also said it will release a specialty limited batch of Oktoberfest beer.
Florence Brewing Company said dressing in costume is encouraged, and guests should don those lederhosen/dirndls and celebrate Oktoberfest with them.
