Emmerdale fans have been left raging – as they shared how his character deserved a better exit[/caption]

He played Nate Robinson in the Dales for the past five years, but has now quit for good.

His final scenes on screen – which saw him leave for Shetland – come after The Sun first revealed the actor had quit earlier this year.

But while fans were expecting Nate’s body to appear in Moira’s barn after it went on fire, it later transpired his exit wouldn’t be screen.

Fuming over the move, fans have flocked to social media as they blasted Emmerdale bosses.

One said: “Unfortunately, that was one of the worst exit, I have seen in a long time. Going forward in my mind Nate died in the fire.”

A second wrote: “Nate didn’t even get a taxi cab exit? Didn’t get to go out on the bus? Nothing?? He wasn’t even a bad character!”

“So after 5 years, Nate just left the village without saying goodbye to anyone? Pretty poor,” said a third.

While a fourth raged: “Wait so after all that, Nate didn’t get an actual exit scene? he wasn’t lying dead in a barn for days and actually just left? everyone needs to be fired for making that awful exit storyline.”

Meanwhile, Jurell spoke out on why he had to say goodbye to Nate and leave Emmerdale after five years.

He told MirrorOnline: “It’s always been in the back of my head.

“My agent was itching for me to go probably a few years ago, but I said to him that it doesn’t feel like the right time, I’m in the right place and I’d know when the time is right.

“It never felt like the right time.”
