Today, defending champion Judd Trump has secured his spot in the last-16 after beating fellow Englishman Matthew Selt 4-1.
Last night, Ronnie O’Sullivan crashed out of the tournament after he suffered a shock defeat to He Guoqiang in the last-64.
O’Sullivan went three frames down early on but clawed the tie back to 3-2 before Guoqiang took the sixth frame to progress.
John Higgins booked his spot in the next round after beating Andrew Higginson 4-1.
The Scotsman returns to the table today as he faces David Gilbert for a spot in the last-16.
