Emmerdale’s Will Taylor comes face to face with Kim Tate’s kidnapper in horrifying twist

EMMERDALE’S Will Taylor has finally come face to face with wife Kim Tate’s kidnapper in a horrifying twist.

The lorry driver – who is played by actor Dean Andrews in the ITV soap – has been terrified by a mystery blackmailer for weeks.

And this week he was left horrified when wife Kim was seemingly kidnapped.

Desperate to find her, Will was forced to raise £50,000 ransom by leveraging his interest in the haulage firm with Caleb Miligan.

With the money in hand, Will was lured into the woods where he found a mannequin dressed in Kim’s clothes and clues that suggested she had been buried alive.

He was horrified to be led on a chase to a freshly dug grave and the sounds of Kim shouting for help from within a deeply-buried coffin.

But when he dug down to find the coffin and free Kim, the shocking truth was revealed.

As Will pulled out a recorder playing Kim’s pleas for help, he was hit over the head with a shovel by the person responsible – Kim herself.

“Will, it’s a little too late to play dumb,” she said.

“You see I was intrigued to see how far you’d go to save yourself once you knew someone else knew your secret.”

Revealing she knew everything – and was taking her revenge, she added: “All this was me, I’m your evil blackmailer.”

Kim demanded Will come clean and as he wittered on about everything he’d done, Kim could barely feign interest in his pity party.

“Well time’s marching on,” she said picking up the bag with the cash in it. “Must get back to the warmth.”

“Where does this leave us?” Will said desperately trying to convince Kim they still had a future.

She replied: “It’s so cute you think there’s an us. Thanks for the money and your phone.”

And then she walked away tossing the radio at his head as she went.

The REAL Kim Tate is back and not a minute too soon

The Sun’s Soaps Editor Carl Greenwood on why Kim Tate’s triumphant return to evil is just what the soap needs…

AFTER years of softening her, Emmerdale bosses have finally let Kim Tate return to being the icon we all know she is.

The woman who watched merrily as her first husband died in front of, only stopping to check her lippy while checking for his breath, would never have let Will Taylor’s deception go on for this long.

And she certainly wouldn’t have fallen for Caleb Miligan’s various schemes.

She’s now made it clear that she’s done with Will – and hopefully she follows that up with something terrifying to get rid of him properly.

But with Caleb mounting another secret scheme against her, the return of the real Kim Tate is very much welcome.

She’ll be able to go toe to toe with him without having to pretend she cares for Will, or have his dreadful daughter Dawn and her brood pulling on her heart strings.

Soapland’s greatest superbitch is back – and she’s taking no prisoners.
