On his Truth Social account, Trump wrote in all capital letters, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
This statement came after a debate between Trump and Harris, where Swift revealed on Instagram that she planned to vote for Harris.
Swift explained her choice by saying that Harris supports the rights and causes she believes in.
Initially, Trump downplayed Swift’s endorsement by saying he was “not a Taylor fan.”
He had earlier shared fake AI generated images online that falsely showed Swift and her fans supporting him.
Swift mentioned that these misleading images were why she decided to publicly support Harris.
It’s unclear why Trump attacked Taylor Swift, but he might think any attention is good.
He has faced criticism, even from fellow Republicans, for his links with conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer.
