(ELLICOTT, Colo.) — The Cimarron Hills Fire Department and Colorado State Patrol (CSP) responded to an accident with trapped patients in Ellicott Monday night, Sept. 16, on Highway 94 east of Log Road.
According to CSP, troopers were dispatched at around 6:45 p.m., where they found that two vehicles, a Ford JEC and a Volkswagen Passat, had been involved in the crash. Multiple people were sent to the hospital, one with serious injuries.
CSP said the road was reopened at 8 p.m., and the crash is under investigation.
