One savvy shopper was left beaming when browsing the aisles in her local Aldi, when she spotted the new ‘must-have laundry accessory’.

Thrilled with her find, which is priced at just £34.99, Madi Hanson took to social media to share it with others, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, a private Facebook group with 2.5 million members, Madi shared a snap of her new Ambiano buy – the Winged Heated Airer.

Alongside her post, she explained: “Out today in Aldi, 6p per hour but we gave Octopus EV tariff so 1/3 of the price per hour between 11.30-5.30 pm. Effectively economy 7 rebooted.

“A lot cheaper than a tumble dryer and folds flat for those with a small space.”

Madi confirmed that the heated airer, which was sold last winter but is now back in stores again, comes with a cover too.

She added: “Everyone raved about it last year hence getting one.”

So if you don’t have a washing line to hang out your clothes, or are worried about rising electricity bills, this bargain buy is one you won’t want to miss.

It’s functional and effective and will help you dry off your clothes in no time at all.

It’s big enough for towels and bedding, has 18 heated bars and is lightweight and foldable.

As well as this, it’s great for the colder months and even better, comes with a three year guarantee.

Madi’s post has clearly impressed many, as it was shared just five hours ago, but has quickly amassed almost 100 comments.

Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts

IF you’ve ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you’ll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.

Aldi’s speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.

It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.

Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.

It also uses “shelf-ready” packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.

Social media users were gobsmacked with the high-street buy and many were keen to express this in the comments.

One person said: “I want.”

I brought one last year. Haven’t used my dryer since

Another tagged a loved one and added: “We’ll have to grab one of these for winter!”

At the same time, many Aldi fans confessed that they have been lucky enough to get their hands on the new heated airer.

One shopper commented: “I have one and couldn’t be without it in winter.

More Aldi middle aisle buys

IF it’s middle aisle buys that you’re looking here, some of the new items you won’t want to miss.

Shoppers recently went wild for Aldi’s new ‘pregnancy and menopause essential’ – and it’s only £6.99.

Garden enthusiasts raced to nab a £6.99 buy that will add style to any garden in an instant.

A £12.99 garden find left shoppers open-mouthed – but you’ll need to sprint to nab it.

If you’re looking to light up your garden this summer, you won’t want to miss this £8.99 solar light.

“I turn the clothes every hour or so for quickness but if I didn’t it would dry anyway, just takes a bit longer.”

A second chimed in: “I brought one last year. Haven’t used my dryer since.

“I also give my washing an extra spin. Then it doesn’t take clothes long to dry.”

Whilst someone else advised: “Just a tip, hang the clothes over two bars so there is a bigger gap in the middle and they’ll dry quicker.”
