The Hickory Police Department is now accepting donations for Cops for Tots. Drop off any new, unwrapped toys in donation boxes that are located at the Hickory Police Department, 347 2nd Avenue S.W.; Hickory City Hall, 76 North Center Street; and the Highland Recreation Center, 1451 8th Street Drive N.E. Any local businesses that would like to have a donation box should call 828-261-2642.
Monetary donations can be mailed to the Hickory Police Department. 100% of donations will be used to support the Hickory Police Department’s Christmas Wish House, children in need, or other community childhood programs.
The department will accept applications for parents or guardians to register for Cops for Tots soon.
