29-year-old Phillip Todd Francis of Cherryville was arrested Friday (September 13) on charges filed in Catawba and Gaston Counties. He’s charged in Catawba with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, parole violation, and resisting a public officer. Francis is charged in Gaston County with misdemeanor larceny. Following the arrest, the suspect was detained in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $4,000 bond. District Court dates are scheduled for October 3 and November 13.
