The other showed these mugs really are what they say on the receipt: 10p

A savvy shopper took to The Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group to spread the word.

Christmas mugs scanning for 10p each!”

“Table cloth good value for £5 too!”, they wrote.

In the post, the shopper included a couple of photos.

One showed the white and green woodland mug with matching tablecloth.

And the other was proof that these mugs really are what they say on the receipt: 10p.

However, this shopper nabbed two.

Undoubtedly, these bargains could be perfect to put away for Christmas.

It would appear several other shoppers think so too as the Facebook post has received almost 200 likes.

One person shared their approval: “That’s a nice table cloth.”

While another took a guess as to why the mugs are so cheap: “They will have had last year’s code on them.

“I have them, they will be mixed in with the new codes, good find.”

A third person simply commented: “Amazing.”

It comes after another eagle-eyed bargain hunter revealed a hack on TikTok that can make your shopping even cheaper.

“One of my friends used to work in B&M and they told me that they would rarely update the sale prices on items”, said the shopper.

In response, one intrigued shopper commented: “So what, do you show them the app prices on the till or how does it work?”

To which @two.islam replied: “Sometimes at the till the sale price won’t reflect so what I did was scan it on the app in front of them and they changed it.”

Another commented: “Yeh I had the same issue, they got the manager and then I paid the price on the app.”

A former B&M staff member wrote: “Used to work there.

“True, I used to always tell customers to go and grab some more and buy some myself on my break.”

He was initially arrested by detectives following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.

The charges relate to an alleged incident in Bracknell, Berks, and two others in locations outside of the UK since 2018.

She said she was attacked at her hotel after a night out with other crew.

A BA crisis team flew to the city.

It came days after another female attendant alleged she was sexually assaulted by a BA pilot in the same region.

And a month previous, a BA stewardess said she was raped in the Caribbean.

A source said: “The airline is reeling from these allegations.”

Labour set to backtrack on complete ban on 2030 petrol car ban amid fears EVs are too expensive

LABOUR is poised to backtrack on a complete ban on the sale of new petrol cars by 2030.

Ministers are poised to let hybrid motors remain on the market until 2035, amid fears fully electric vehicles are too expensive for many.

It comes after PM Sir Keir Starmer pledged to end the sale of “new cars with internal combustion engines” in the Labour election manifesto.

That would have meant an end to new hybrids such as Nissan’s best-selling Qashqai which uses a petrol or diesel engine alongside a battery.

Concerns over the high cost of EVs, their resale value, range and availability of charging points is likely to see ministers extend their life by five years.

Shadow Transport Secretary Helen Whately blasted the move, telling The Sunday Telegraph: “This new plan is the worst of both worlds.

“It doesn’t do much to drive down emissions — and it’s moving too fast for businesses and motorists.

“Labour spent years in opposition telling everyone they’d give businesses certainty, but they’re backsliding within months.

“This dithering creates a huge headache for manufacturers and hurts economic growth.”

A government spokesman said its plan had always been to phase out by 2030 “new vehicles with pure internal combustion engines”.

He said: “The original phase-out date included the provision for some hybrid vehicle sales between 2030 and 2035.”
