RING has just dropped the next generation of Ring’s best-selling doorbell, now packed with even more features.

The brand-new Ring Battery Video Doorbell is up for grabs today at just £99.99, and it’s easier than ever to set up, with a serious battery upgrade to boot.

Ring Battery Video Doorbell, £99.99

Announced last month, the latest addition to the Ring lineup of video doorbells is packed with welcome upgrades.

The Battery Video Doorbell builds on the success of the 2020 Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) but adds even more enhancements that are sure to make it a new favourite.

The standout features? Head-To-Toe Field of View, a redesigned mounting system, and Colour Night Vision, all at a more budget-friendly price point.

Whether you’re looking to upgrade your home security or invest in a smart doorbell for the first time, this new release is worth a closer look.

We’ve got all the details you need right here, including the scoop on those new features, pricing, and when you can shop for one yourself.

Ring Battery Video Doorbell: Release date

We first got wind of the new Battery Video Doorbell in August, and true to form, the Amazon-owned security brand didn’t keep us waiting too long.

As of September 4th, it’s officially available to purchase from high-street favourite Currys.

With all the excitement around its new features, we were glad we didn’t have to twiddle your thumbs for too long.

If you’ve been waiting for a video doorbell that’s both affordable and high-performing, now’s your chance to snag one of the top picks out there.

Ring Battery Video Doorbell: Features

The latest model builds on the Video Doorbell (2nd-gen), packing in some standout features.

The one getting tongues wagging is the 150-degree by 150-degree field of view.

This upgrade is perfect for catching every visitor or keeping tabs on packages, a significant improvement over the previous model’s 150-by-90-degree view.

While this wide-angle feature has been a hallmark of Ring’s premium range, it’s making its debut on its budget doorbell offerings.

It’s not the only inheritance it gains; the new version also comes with Colour Night Vision, which boosts motion detection and delivers clearer footage in low light.

One of the biggest improvements addresses the old model’s cumbersome recharging process.

Previously, users had to unscrew the doorbell from its mount to recharge it. The new model introduces a clever pushpin mounting system, allowing you to release the doorbell from its mount with a pin easily.

We’re also pleased to see it has been upgraded from a micro-USB port to a USB-C port, aligning it with the new standard.

Plus, the battery life with, typical settings, has been extended by 23%, so you’ll find yourself charging it less often.

Ring Battery Video Doorbell: Price

While we’ve gained tons of great features and upgrades on the new video doorbell, the price remains unchanged at £99.99, just like its predecessor when it first hit the market.

Although we haven’t had a chance to test it, this model seems to hit the sweet spot as a solid mid-range choice that Ring’s lineup has been missing.

It offers a perfect blend of affordability and functionality compared to its pricier counterparts, like the Ring Video Doorbell Plus at £129.99 and the high-end Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 at £219.99.

So if you’re after a reliable and future-proof video doorbell that won’t break the bank, this is one to consider.

But it seems that long before her Channel 4 TV days Sacha, 29, sported a very different look.

In an unearthed snap on social media, the aesthetics practitioner was pictured with a bold blue hair colour.

In April 2015, she posed in a selfie with makeup artist, influencer and content creator Bryn Abraham Jones on Instagram.

The duo looked completely different from their now more glamorous lives.

Sacha posed as she sported a monochrome crop top and she wore heavy liner around her eyes, A far cry from her more natural tones on Married At First Sight.

The star is one of eight new brides to enter the long-running social experiment process in a bid to find the one.

Meanwhile, she previously confessed that she has some deal-breaking conditions for her potential new TV love.

These come in the form of a need to have similar interests to her and that they share her love of cats.

“A red flag to me is someone not liking cats. I was always
told to never trust a man that doesn’t like cats,” the star admitted.

She tries to be as ambitious as she can be and admitted that she came from a competitive family.

Sacha is extremely close to her father and says she is a “Daddy’s girl”.

The self described “Daddy’s girl” also emphasised that it was important that the man she marries has her father’s approval.

Sacha has competed in beauty pageants since she was six-years-old and in 2018 was even crowned Miss Birmingham.

Aside from the beauty competitions, Sacha regularly takes part in more physical activities such as kickboxing.

Baywatch star, 50, says she’s making ‘more money than ever’ and supporting entire family by stripping off for OnlyFans

BAYWATCH Hawaii star Brande Roderick has revealed she’s making ‘more money than ever’ by stripping off for OnlyFans.

Brande, 50, who starred as Leigh Dyer in the 1999 spin-off, is following in the footsteps of Denise Richards, Drea de Matteo and Carol Alt by raking in the cash on the adult site.

Baywatch star Brande Roderick is making loads of money on OnlyFans
Wenn

The actress has experience in the field, though, having enjoyed a career as a glamour model alongside her TV career.

She told Fox News Digital: “Me being a single mom of two boys with no financial support from their father, I have to take care of my family.

“And for me, my passion and love is acting and producing. So, in order for me to do that, I have, you know, my side job with OnlyFans, which helps to facilitate my other passion of acting and producing.

“So, for me, it’s been really a wonderful outlet for me.”

Brande went on to compare her OnlyFans shoots to her Playboy work, but this time with more creative control.

She explained: “You only put out there the images that you love and that you want, you know, the world to see.

“Whereas when you were doing Playboy, you really had no control over it. So, it’s like I’m my own Hugh Hefner, I guess.”

The blonde beauty also made clear that she doesn’t “show any nudity down below” and tries to bring an artistic and meaninful approach to the images.

Brande, who was crowned Playboy’s Playmate of the year in 2001, played strong-minded Leigh in the beach drama until its cancellation in 2001.

Lifeguard Leigh clashed with rival Jenna Avid from nearby Oahu North Shore on the series after the latter tried recruiting her as a spy.

Brande got the gig after going through four or five stages of auditions including tough swimming and water tests.

She ultimately passed and became the second character in the spin-off franchise’s history to be a helicopter pilot after Allie Reese.

Away from the screen, Brande has lived a varied life.

She had a year long romance with the late Playboy founder Hugh Hefner in 2000 and was previously married to NFL star Glenn Cadrez, who is the father of her two boys.

She and Cadrez divorced in 2017.

Brande has starred on the big screen too with roles in Starsky and Hutch and Bollywood flick Out of Control.

Then there have been appearances in reality TV on Celebrity Apprentice and Gameshow Marathon.

Meet the unknown trio of Arsenal teenagers on bench for North London derby including giant centre-back and rapid winger

MIKEL ARTETA was left with the bare bones of an Arsenal squad last weekend.

The Gunners boss had six first team stars missing in Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Mikel Merino, Riccardo Calafiori, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Captain Martin Odegaard was missing through injury picked up with Norway

As a result, Arteta was forced to assemble a bench that included FIVE teenagers – four of which had never made a senior appearance for the club.

Arsenal fans will already be aware of talented academy stars Myles Lewis-Skelly, 17, and Ethan Nwaneri, 17 – the latter becoming the youngest ever Prem debutant in September 2022 at the age of 15 years and 181 days.

However, there was an “unknown” trio sat alongside them at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

SunSport’s Jordan Davies gives a profile on each of them:

AYDEN HEAVEN

POSITION: Centre back

NATIONALITY: English

AGE: 17

Heaven signed from West Ham in 2019 and has become a real stand-out in the Hale End academy, drawing praise from Arteta after appearing on the club’s pre-season tour of the States this summer in a clash with Manchester United.

The 6ft3 teenager is no stranger to an Arsenal first team squad, featuring on the bench during last season’s 1-0 defeat away to Porto in the Champions League last 16 first leg.

MALDINI KACURRI

POSITION: Centre back

NATIONALITY: Albanian

AGE: 18

This Albanian youth international has a reputation in the academy for his crunching tackles and robust style.

And he could soon be making them in the Prem with the seniors.

Kacurri signed a new pro deal with the club this summer after establishing himself as a regular for the youth teams following his free agent exit from Fulham in 2022.

ISMEAL KABIA

POSITION: Right winger

NATIONALITY: Dutch

AGE: 18

Another youngster who penned new terms this summer after joining in 2022, known for his rapid pace on the flanks.

He has made an impact in the older age groups, scoring one and providing another in three Prem 2 outings.

While he was also on-target against Leyton Orient in the EFL Trophy.

Arsenal ratings vs Spurs as Gabriel is the hero in feisty North London derby

GABRIEL headed in the only goal of the game as a depleted Arsenal snatched all three points in the North London Derby.

Here’s how SunSport’s Lloyd Canfield rated the Gunners players…

DAVID RAYA – 8/10

Commanded his area well, and was a safe pair of hands throughout the game. Another great showing in what has been a spectacular start for the Spanish stopper.

JURRIEN TIMBER – 7

Did well from an attacking perspective, charging down the left hand side on various occasions. Solid defensively too against Spurs’ flying right side of Johnson and Porro.

Some would argue he should’ve been sent off for a challenge on Pedro Porro in the first half, but he escaped despite squaring up to Vicario in the aftermath.

WILLIAM SALIBA – 8

A really good recovery challenge in the first half to deny Dominic Solanke, despite being booked early on.

You can always count on Saliba to put in a solid display, and he didn’t disappoint today with fantastic passing out from the back too.

GABRIEL – 9

A fantastic defensive showing throughout, reinforced with a towering header inside the box to give his side the lead from a set piece (shock).

Has formed an impeccable partnership with Saliba, personified by their heartwarming celebration together after the opener. He’s the man.

BEN WHITE – 6

Gave away the ball in a dangerous position in the first half, with Solanke failing to capitalise and had a tough first half against the quick feet of Heung Min-Son.

Was not able to demonstrate the dangerous right-hand side overlap we saw work so effectively last season, but wasn’t threatened in the second 45.

JORGINHO – 4

Struggled to replace the suspended Declan Rice for this North London derby, whom the Gunners really missed.

A tough task, but didn’t come close to matching Rice’s intensity or ability to drive the ball up the pitch which left Arsenal weak in the forward areas.

THOMAS PARTEY – 5

Struggled in transition with Jorginho alongside him, another player who felt the full force of no Rice and Odegaard.

Not fast enough with or without the ball, and will need to perk his ideas up for City next week.

GABRIEL MARTINELLI – 6

Looked like a bright spark with his running and forward movement, but was let down by his end product or lack thereof.

Worked really really hard throughout, just looks short of confidence in the last actions.

LEANDRO TROSSARD – 6

Dropping deeper into more of a midfield role than he’s used to today, it should be noted that he did a job for the team when they needed him.

Not the flying efficiency machine we have seen him be from the bench, but his versatility will be needed this season it seems.

BUKAYO SAKA – 7

Didn’t make the kind of impact on the game we are used to seeing from the brilliant Bukayo Saka, and looked less of a threat without Martin Odegaard to combine with.

Did some really good defensive work nonetheless, and delivered the perfect corner to claim the assist for Gabriel’s opener.

KAI HAVERTZ – 6

A good header in the first half was saved well by Vicario in the spurs net – actually made more clearances (3) than he managed shots on target (2) in the first 45.

Was a handful for the Spurs defence, but largely nullified by the pace and power of Mickey Van de Ven and Cristian Romero.
