However, their approaches to raising their children has caused a few rifts between Novak and Jelena – especially when it comes to the ominous area of mobile phone rules.
Speaking at the Davis Cup this week, Djokovic told Blic: “My children still don’t have a cell phone, my wife and I argue [about it].
“The kids complain, ‘At school everyone has one except us.’
“It’s not easy and this is reflected on other levels as well.
“If everyone does something, the herd behaves like this, you have to follow them.
“Well, it doesn’t have to be like that. This is where I think we differ from others, because we are stubborn and active.”
Then during one interview with the Tennis Channel, Djokovic claimed: “Out of the two parents, I’m the one who is responsible for their activities, sports, healthy lifestyle.”
Having seen his wife’s response, he smiled as he went on: “Exactly – she’s rolling her eyes right now as I’m speaking!
“I keep reminding them of how important it is to be active and do sport, whether it’s tennis, whatever it is.
“There are a lot of families and a lot of children from other players who are coming in so for them it’s also a great experience.

An emotional Djokovic, who became the third man to complete the Golden Slam of all four Majors plus Olympic gold, labelled his success at Roland Garros last month as the “greatest achievement and greatest highlight of my career”.

ARSENAL’s squad photo has dropped for the 2024/25 season – and there are a few surprises.

Tierney was included in the 25-man squad despite becoming a forgotten man at the Emirates[/caption]

Summer signings Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino, Neto, and Raheem Sterling all took their places in the team snap.
They were joined by youngsters Ethan Nwaneri, Lewis Myles-Skelly, Tommy Setford and Ayden Heaven from the Gunners academy.
One player some fans were surprised to see included in the 25-man photo was forgotten full-back Kieran Tierney.
One fan responded to the team photo on X: “Forgot that Tierney was still registered for our squad.”
Another said: “The squad is so thin that we have space beside Martinelli, those guys in front are the main guys the face of the new project. 4 academy boys in the squad and Keiran Tierney too.”
And a third joked: “4 Hale End + 21 senior heads & Kieran Tierney.”
While a fourth referenced the defender’s poor injury record, adding: “At least Tierney is standing up.”
Tierney opened up on his future with the Gunners after returning from his unsuccessful loan in Spain.
The 27-year-old still has two years remaining on his contract in North London.

But he admitted in May he was unlikely to break back into the first team after falling down the pecking order.
Speaking to The Athletic, Tierney said: “Look at the squad depth in that position now.
“They have Zinchenko, Timber, Tomiyasu, Kiwior. Four players can play there.
“So if I go back and it’s the same as before then I’m not silly, I know the chances are I’ll be leaving.
“But you never know in football. You get the rare case with [William] Saliba.
“Where he came back after a couple of good seasons [out on loan] but you don’t see it too often with someone who has played for four years, left, and then come back to play again.”
Despite a mini squad crisis before the North London Derby, Arsenal took bragging rights from local rivals Spurs on Sunday.
