My cross dressing fetish is ruining my sex life and relationship

DEAR DEIDRE: MY sex life is failing because I can only get fully aroused when I’m wearing women’s clothes.

I’m a man of 42 and my wife doesn’t know that I have this fetish.

It started when I was a kid because I had two big sisters and we used to play dressing-up games. I found when I hit puberty, that the soft materials against my skin gave me a thrill.

I hide my clothes in a storage unit but get them out when my wife is away visiting her mother for the weekend.

As soon as I’ve had my sexual relief, I put them away and dress like a man again.

I buy and sell my feminine attire on auction sites. Lots of men buy my stuff. I know it’s common.

My wife is 39 and she’s told me she misses intimacy with me but I can’t perform without dressing in women’s clothes.

DEIDRE SAYS: First of all, I want to let you know that many men experience the same need to wear women’s clothing in order to become aroused.

Your wife is missing intimacy and you don’t feel comfortable letting her know about your fetish.

You need to work out if you can share your secret with your wife and how to explain that this need isn’t necessarily a threat to your relationship.

You would find it hugely reassuring to talk to a sex and relationship counsellor. Perhaps you could start on your own and then invite your wife.

COSRT (COSRT.org.uk) can help put you in contact with a reputable therapist.

Claim a FREE 43-inch TV with Virgin Media broadband and TV bundles

a black box with the number 8 on it

IF you’re on the hunt for a bargain broadband plan this month then you’re in luck, as I’ve spotted unmissable offers from Virgin Media.

You can bag a free 43-inch Hisense TV or claim £200 in bill credit when signing up for one of Virgin Media’s 18-month broadband bundles – but you’ll have to be quick.

September is proving to be a superb month for savings thanks to Virgin Media’s generous broadband bundle perks.

New customers have until September 22, 2024, to sign up for a broadband contract and claim a free TV worth £399 or £200 in bill credit.

The tech offer up for grabs is a 43-inch 4K Smart TV from Hisense, a big-name brand we’ve seen on sale in the past.

For those of you who already have a TV you love, the £200 credit is a nice way to save over the contract.

In a nice touch, that bill credit can also be used to purchase on-demand entertainment via Virgin TV, so you’ve got more than one way to make the most of it.

The deal is exclusive to Virgin’s 18- month bundles, but with your choice of free TV or, bill credit, and bargain pricing, you’ll be saving a sizable chunk.

There’s a variety of broadband deals for all your streaming needs, be is to suit sports fanatics or the movie lovers among you.

For the movie buffs, there’s the Bigger Movie Bundle, which is well worth a gander.

It comes with M125 Fibre Broadband, over 200 TV channels, and unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines, and 11 Sky Cinema channels to watch the latest movies in HD.

Not only that, you can also pause, rewind, and record with a Virgin TV 360 box, so you never have to fret about missing the good part.

For the first 18 months, customers will pay just £60.99 before the plan increases to £118 per month if renewed.

New customers also have the chance to save on Virgin’s Bigger Sports + HD bundle.

As its name suggests, this package is perfect for sports fans looking to tune into the season’s latest action.

For £69.99 per month, customers will receive M500 Fibre broadband and a selection of HD channels, including Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports Cricket, and Sky Sports F1.

In addition to its sports content, you’ll also get those 200 TV channels and enjoy unlimited weekend calls.

After 18 months, customers will pay £156 per month if the contract is renewed, so it’s a great deal to jump on now.

While browsing the Virgin’s packages, I also spotted one of its mega bundles, which packs in more for bang for your buck.

The Mega Volt bundle is just £84.99 per month and boasts the fastest Gigabit broadband, access to over 230 channels, and an unlimited O2 SIM for £20 per month.

Not only that, customers can also elevate their streaming thanks to the inclusion of subscriptions such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and Paramount+.

That’s a pretty impressive lineup of perks, which renews at £178 once the 18 month contract is up.

If you’re set on switching providers, its a wise move to shop around to get the best deal and our roundup of the best broadband deals for September is a great place to start.

As we inch closer to November, it’s worth mentioning Black Friday, which is a great time to lock in a bargain broadband deal.

You can head to our Virgin’s Black Friday page for an idea of what to expect come in the next few months.
