JERMAINE Jenas’ wife Ellie has broken her silence for the first time since the former England star was sacked by the BBC.
The 41-year-old presenter saw his contract ripped up after admitting to sending “inappropriate texts” to two female co-workers.
Speaking about the BBC incident, married father-of-four Jenas previously said he was “ashamed” of his actions and “deeply sorry”.
Now, the ex-footballer’s wife, Ellie has broken her silence on Instagram.
She revealed she is launching new business venture, Preppy Skin, a grooming brand aimed exclusively at the under-16s.
Ellie told her followers: “I’m so excited to finally reveal something very special that I have been working on for the last 3 years.
“@PreppySkin is a new personal care brand aimed at Kids and teens. As a mother of 4, I knew that there was a gap for something immersive, fun but also (and most importantly to my eldest) Has to look amazing for her Get ready with me routines!
“The collection begins with personal care products, with an incredible pipeline of future products.
“Every product has been tried, tested and approved from the packaging, scents, formulations, and of course the name PREPPY!!
“We can not wait to finally launch this brand, and reveal all next month!”
Jermaine and Ellie share three children together, two daughters Geneva and Olivia and a son called Jacob.
The former Tottenham man also has an older daughter, Sancha, from a previous relationship who lives in the United States with her mother.
It comes after former One Show Jenas host broke down in his sit down interview with The Sun.
But he insisted that the texts were unsolicited and were between two consenting adults.
Jenas apologised but stressed that his behaviour was not illegal.
He said: “I have let myself down, my family, friends and colleagues down, and I owe everyone an apology — especially the women with whom I was messaging. I am so, so sorry.
“I think it would be fair to say I have a problem. I know I self- sabotage and have a self-destructive streak when it comes to my relationship especially, and I know I need help. And I am getting help.
“I have made a lot of mistakes, and I am asking myself a lot of questions at the moment. I know there’s a lot of work that needs to be done, and it will be hard.”
Jenas has hired a team of lawyers to assess the BBC’s handling of his sacking, and whether confidential information was leaked.
The former football star is looking to sue the broadcaster and confirmed a legal letter has already been sent to execs by his newly-hired representatives.
He said his anxiety has rocketed, and is concerned senior staff in different departments within the BBC — including sport and entertainment — appeared to be openly discussing his dismissal when it should have been kept confidential.
An emotional Jenas told The Sun: “The handling of the situation wasn’t great. It was quick — and hell.”
He also slammed the dismissal process, which happened over a Zoom call while he was on holiday in Spain with wife Ellie and their three kids.

The awesome son of Justify is 3-1 favourite to do the double in the feature race of what is known as the ‘world championships’ of racing.
ITV have been proud hosts of the Breeders’ Cup – which this year takes place in Del Mar in California – recently, showing all the Group 1s.
They broadcast 14 races in all over two nights last year when the fixture was held at Santa Anita and big-name horses including Auguste Rodin and Inspiral, ridden by Frankie Dettori, were among the winners.
But there will be no terrestrial coverage of the star-studded meeting, which features a load of British and Irish horses, when it begins in November.
An ITV spokesperson told the Racing Post that ‘existing contracted programming’ meant a clash, with the Breeders’ Cup coverage biting the bullet.
Fortunately for punters Sky Sports Racing will show all the action and subcription-only channel Racing TV will broadcast the Classic.
ITV has ramped up its coverage of racing and in 2023 signed a new three-year deal that committed to showing the sport until 2026.
Ed Chamberlin and Francesca Cumani front up their Cheltenham, Grand National and Royal Ascot coverage.
While ITV cameras show racing more than 100 days of the year as part of the agreement.

MAFS UK bride Emma Barnes is left sobbing after she was body shamed by her husband Caspar Todd during tonight’s episode.
The E4 show returned to our screens earlier this week and the couples all met for the first time walking down the aisle.
Emma and Caspar were paired together by the experts as part of the experiment.
Gardener Caspar said that he did find his new bride attractive, but she also reminded him of his twin sister.
Meanwhile Emma made it quite clear that she was happy with her new man.
This evening’s instalment of the show sees a number of the couples head off on their honeymoons.
At the end of last night’s episode, the show teased what viewers can expect – and Emma is left in tears after a conversation with her new husband.
In one scene Emma tells Caspar: “I’m a size 14. I’m not a f***ing monster.”
She later spoke to camera and said: “It’s a shame that I’m not attractive to the person I’ve married.”
Caspar added to the camera: “I want love and it’s nowhere fucking close.”
Viewers have been left fuming over what they’ve seen so far.
One wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Not Casper commenting on Emma’s weight when he said himself he’s always been made to feel like shit about his body!! This man went from a green flag to a

Caspar clashed with his sister Daisy during the first episode of the show.
He said: “Emma is full of energy, big smile, really big laugh, beautiful dazzling woman….but if I’m being completely honest, she very much reminds me of my sister… who I hate.

“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’
“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
“Daisy’s the only person in my life who drives me around the f**king bend.
“She’s the one person in my life who, if you want to see me angry, it can take her under 30 seconds to drive me up the wall.”
There was evidence of this abrasive dynamic when the siblings sat down, alongside their mum, to discuss Caspar’s new wife.
“For me, the only thing I haven’t got right now is wanting to rip her clothes off,” said Caspar.
Daisy replied: “Don’t say that out loud. Don’t day that to her.”
Frustrated, Caspar hit back: “Daisy, I’m not going to say it. F**k sake. I’m trying to talk to you. Just back off.”
Caspar also confessed that Emma reminds him of his sister.

“But in recent years many of her journeys abroad have been with Alan by her side, and their friendship has grown deeper while making the three series of the Mediterranean travel shows.
“The duo are even on holiday together now in Greece and the most recent video of them messing around in the Med has been watched eight million times.
“That just goes to show their pairing is a winning combination — she brings the glamour, he brings the giggles.”
Meanwhile, bosses gave the pair a vote of confidence by hiring them to host the Royal Variety Performance in November.

EASTENDERS fans have slammed the “abysmal” love triangle between Bobby Beale, Anna Knight and Freddie Slater, admitting they “can’t take much more” of the drama.
As EastEnders fans know, Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) is dating his step-sister Anna Knight (Molly Rainford), but she also has feelings for his best friend Freddie (Bobby Brazier).
The pair are secretly in love but have been hiding their feelings because of Anna’s relationship with Bobby.
But this week Anna and Freddie grew even closer – though some viewers have been left fuming at the progression of this storyline as they demand the pair be axed from the soap.
To complicate the situation, Anna is also pregnant with Bobby’s baby. However, in Tuesday’s episode (September 17), she went to the clinic to get pills for a medical abortion after deciding she didn’t want the baby.
Bobby is completely unaware of what Anna is going through, though Freddie has already figured it out and headed to the clinic to support her.
He took her home and then clashed with Gina (Francesca Henry) over telling Bobby, before Anna told them both to grow up.
She then told Freddie: “Thank you. If I’d have been smarter, I wouldn’t have let any of this happen, I wouldn’t be in this mess.
“How has it got to this Fred? I did need someone there today. You know me better than I know myself,” she added, before lifting her head to kiss Freddie.
Meanwhile, a worried Bobby looks to the Beales for advice who then tell him they think his girlfriend is pregnant and that she needs his support and understanding.
Bobby decides to take his family’s advice and heads to the Vic to check on Anna – but he is left utterly devastated as he walks in on her locking lips with Freddie.
The Bobby-Anna-Freddie love triangle has been brewing away in Walford for months, but viewers are sick of it.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, after the episode, one BBC viewer raged: “Can’t take much more of this Freddie/Anna/Bobby love triangle.”
While another demands Anna and Freddie are axed from the soap.
They wrote: “Ruining the show! Abysmal abysmal abysmal! Blend these two together and Hollyoaks actors are still superior- it hurts my heart to exclaim such words about the mighty Eastenders! Viva la axe.”
“Who asked for Anna & Freddie?” a third viewer moaned. “I have not seen one person ship them, no edits of them, no one wanting them together or remotely interested in their relationship. What’s the point?”

Shelley/Peter/Lucy: Peter Barlow took the concept of a love triangle and ran with it in Coronation Street – extending it to bigamy.
He was in a relationship with Shelley Unwin but started dating Lucy Richards, and quickly married her after she fell pregnant with his son, Simon.
But it didn’t stop him also marrying Shelley, but he was eventually caught when Lucy turned up in Weatherfield and the two women confronted him.
Ken/Deidre/Mike: Back in 1982, Deirdre Barlow started sleeping with her husband’s nemesis Mike Baldwin in secret, before confessing all a year later.
When Mike turned up at the marital home, Deirdre was being throttled by her husband who then kicked her out, but years later they reconciled.
Maria/Aidan/Eva: In 2017, Aidan Connor started sleeping with girlfriend Eva Price’s best friend, Maria Connor.
Eva eventually found out and she decided to take revenge by faking a pregnancy, spending his money and planned to confront him on their wedding day.
But she had a change of heart when a remorseful Aidan confessed, and decided to marry him anyway, only for Maria to arrive and expose her fake pregnancy.

Ross/Debbie/Pete: Debbie Dingle found herself torn between two brothers, Ross and Pete Barton in 2015 in Emmerdale.
She eventually decided to marry Pete but yet again, a soap wedding day was ruined when the groom learned of his bride’s betrayal via a recording played at the wedding.
Chrissie/Robert/Aaron: Robert Sugden was married to Chrissie White and all seemed well – until he began a steamy affair with Aaron Dingle.
Robert’s ex Katie Sugden almost exposed the affair – but fell to her death before she had the chance.
However, a guilty Aaron eventually cracked and told Chrissie about the affair – after which she announced it to the whole pub.
“I don’t believe anyone is remotely interested in this Anna, Freddie and Bobby nonsense,” a fourth agreed.
It’s currently unclear how much longer the BBC soap will be dragging out this storyline, but it has been confirmed that Bobby actor Clay is leaving EastEnders later this year.
Could rumbling his girlfriend and best mate’s budding romance be the reason? And will Bobby’s departure may pave the way for Anna and Freddie to finally be together?
Speculating about what might kick off Bobby’s exit storyline in an EastEnders online forum, one viewer said: “I’m fairly certain Anna will dump him for Freddie and that will be the trigger for him to leave the square.”
