So when she saw a hack online to get perfect slices with a hidden feature on a traditional grater, she had to give it a try.

Sasha took to TikTok to document herself testing the hack, which involved using the lines on the side of the triangular grater.

“Never have I even realised that this slides here and it will create a perfect…” she said.

Sasha then exclaimed: “No way. Oh my God!”

The clip showed her sliding the block down the slides, before taking out the slices from the inside of the grater.

“I am shook,” she concluded.

“Okay am I the last person to know this or what?! Game changer!” Sasha captioned her video.

“What did you think that side was for…..?!” one person commented.

To which Sasha replied: “Honestly just never really noticed it til today!”

“I’ve never ever used that side either,” another admitted.

“I’m 56 and I didn’t know that lol,” someone else said.

“49 years old and never knew that!” another wrote.

“We only discovered this recently too,” someone else said.

“I’m shooketh to the coreth, I had no idea that’s what this was for!!” another admitted.

To which Sasha replied: “I’m glad it’s not just me!”

“I used a vegetable peeler too, much easier,” someone else suggested.

But other people were quick to sarcastically comment on Sasha’s video, insisting they’d known for years.

“Wait. the cheese slicer slices cheese? I’m shocked. shook I tell ya!” one wrote.
