THIS is the horror moment an old woman was attacked by a deadly 13ft python that tried to squeeze the life out of her.

Arrom Arunroj, 64, was washing dishes in her outdoor kitchen when the mammoth beast began coiling up around her body.

She looked down thinking it was a monitor lizard that had bitten her – only to find a reticulated python waiting to attack.

The mum-of-two panicked and tried to ward off the python but fell while attempting to get out of the kitchen in her house in Thailand.

Horror bodycam footage shows an injured Arrom sitting helplessly on the ground as the mammoth python brutally squeezed her body.

The widow said she struggled for more than two hours before her screams were finally heard by a neighbour who called the cops.

But by the time help arrived, Arrom had already been struggling for four hours trying to get out of the python’s clutch.

She was then rushed to a hospital for treatment, where her relatives arrived to check on her.

The granny said: “I didn’t notice the snake until it bit me. I looked down and it was coiling around my leg.

“I was scared that the python would kill me, so I screamed at the top of my lungs until a passer-by heard me. I have never been so terrified in my life.

“The snake just would not let go of me. I’m sure it was waiting for me to die so it could eat me. So I just prayed and did my best to stay alive.”

Arrom’s arms had gone pale and numb after the horror ordeal – and she had severe wounds on her leg.

Anusorn Wongmalee, commander of the Crime Prevention and Suppression Unit, said: “The police and rescue workers could hear her weak cries from inside so we broke down the door to rescue her.

“What we saw shocked us. The elderly woman was being squeezed by a huge python that must have weighed more than 45lbs.

“We used whatever tools we could to try to pry her free from it. It took more than 30 minutes to remove the snake. It was then released back into the forest behind the room.”

The reticulated python is found throughout Thailand but it is rare for them to attack humans.

They are native to southeast Asia and often lurk in forests, swamps, and canals.

They are non-venomous but kill their prey by stunning them with a bite before wrapping around them and crushing them to death.

It comes after another grandma was crushed to death by a huge 16ft python.

Hapsah, 57, from Indonesia, was tapping rubber trees when the serpent attacked her at a plantation last month.

Meanwhile, horror footage captured the moment a missing woman was found inside a giant python’s belly after being eaten alive by the deadly serpent.

Locals were forced to cut open the python’s stomach to find Farida, 50, who disappeared two days ago while she was on her way to a local market near her home in, Indonesia.
