Anthony Joshua warns Daniel Dubois he is willing to ‘DIE’ in the ring and jokes he will ‘tear the place up’ if he loses

ANTHONY JOSHUA has warned Daniel Dubois he is willing to die in the ring.

The Watford warrior has dumped the cautious approach that saw him trying to avoid danger.

Under trainer Ben Davison, AJ 2.0 is bullish, spiteful and ruthless.

And he is once again ready to go to the darkest corners to become a three-time world heavyweight champion by defeating IBF king Dubois at Wembley on Saturday.

Joshua insisted: “He’s fighting someone who is willing to die in there — who wants to give it everything to be victorious.

“It takes more than being strong to be a champion and to be a complete fighter.

“It’s good, of course, but I truly believe from what I’ve studied, read and what great people who have come before me have said, it takes more than being a physical specimen.

“It’s a good attribute but when you come across someone who is willing to take that from you, you’ve given them your best shot and they are able to take it, that’s when you figure out what it takes to be a champion.

“That’s what I’ve done. I’ve been to the well.”

Joshua risked everything in his first Wembley win, over Wladimir Klitschko in 2017 — climbing off the deck in the fifth round and barely recovering until the eighth.

He’s fighting someone who is willing to die in there — who wants to give it everything to be victorious.

But the 2019 shock loss to Andy Ruiz, where he was dropped four times and lost his world crowns for the first time, led Joshua to a drastic change in fighting style and mindset.

In the cautious rematch win over Mexican Ruiz, the prolonged stoppage of Kubrat Pulev, the painful points losses to Oleksandr Usyk and the two tedious rebuild wins, he boxed at range and avoided danger.

But since linking up with trainer Davison, the former Olympic king has made a bloody mess of Otto Wallin and destroyed Francis Ngannou, the MMA specialist who deserved a points decision against Tyson Fury four months earlier.

It was Usyk who dethroned Joshua as world heavyweight champ for the second time in September 2021.

Eleven months later, the Ukrainian genius had too much for AJ again — and the Englishman had a bizarre post-fight strop, throwing the championship belts to the floor and arguing with his team.

Tearful Joshua, 34, later apologised for what he saw as letting down the nation.

Filling Wembley, once again, with a record-breaking 96,000 fans paying to watch the all-English clash should feel like redemption.

Dubois, 27, won the interim IBF belt by stopping Filip Hrgovic in June. The Londoner became full champ when Usyk vacated the crown.

But Joshua joked that another nightmare evening could spark an even more fearsome tantrum that will take him tearing through the VIP seats and up into the Gods.

ANTHONY JOSHUA VS DANIEL DUBOIS: All the information you need ahead of huge world title fight at Wembley

He joked: “If I f***ing lose I’ll get even worse . . . I’ll be up in the stadium tearing the place up!

“The fans are there. Some want to see me there so I need to do a job.

“It has been a blessing and I don’t take it for granted. I’ve given Dan the respect he deserves in terms of my preparation.

“I’ve given the 96,000 fans the respect by preparing myself to compete and travelling around the world to find coaches and a home where I can improve.

“I just need to do it on Saturday night now. I just want to make sure everyone who comes to support me leaves there feeling like ‘we did it’.”

As usual there is some focus on accusations of Saudi Arabia using high-level sport to wash their reputation as a dictatorship.

But Joshua, like most of the other working-class lads in the most brutal business of all, is more concerned with laundering dirty kit in the aftermath of his latest battle.

He grinned: “You know what’s crazy, on Sunday morning you wake up and it’s the same. Your bills still come out of your account, you’ve got to do your washing.

“I was in Saudi in the Airbnb, after the Francis Ngannou fight.

“I was just there ironing and washing after the Ngannou fight. It’s mad. The only difference is that it hurts losing.”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs caged in hellhole prison infested with rats, raw sewage and home to cartel kingpins & other rappers

DISGRACED rapper Diddy has been locked up in a hellhole rat-infested prison as he awaits trial.

The music mogul – real name Sean Combs – is in custody after being charged with sex trafficking as well as racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs, 54, was arrested on Monday and yesterday had his $50 million bail bid denied by a judge.

Prosecutors  argued that the embattled hip-hop tycoon was a danger to the community and urged the judge to keep him locked up.

Accused of running a sex crime empire, Combs has denied allegations made against in following a months-long investigation.

But as he awaits trial, Combs is being held in Brooklyn’s notorious Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC).

Plagued with rat infestations, violent outbreaks and understaffing, the prison is far cry from the luxury Combs has lapped up for years at his Miami and LA mansions.

Able to hold 1,600 inmates, cartel kingpins and other celebrities are among those to have called the jail home.

High-profile individuals to experience the prison’s brutal conditions include R Kelly, Fetty Wap, and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Maxwell famously bemoaned her time at the jail – including about sleep deprivation, a lack of potable water, a sewage stench in her cell and living among rodents and cockroaches.

She also complained that guards kept her up with flashlights and repeatedly subjected her to humiliating searches.

R Kelly meanwhile had his lawyers sue the prison after he claimed they placed him on suicide watch as a punishment.

Conditions are so vile at the prison that it has been reported the jail has stopped accepting inmates serving out their sentences.

All but a few dozen of its inmates are suspects awaiting trial or prosecution

In June, an inmate was even murdered and at least four have died by suicide in the last three years.

Inmate Uriel Whyte – who had been awaiting trial on gun charges for more than two year – was stabbed to death at MDC on June 7.

Then in July, Edwin Cordero died after being injured in a brawl at the jail.

Following Whyte’s death, inmate Eli told Spectrum News NY1: “It’s very violent. There’s stabbings at least a couple times a week.”

Despite repeatedly hitting headlines for its conditions, the prison has not been officially inspected by the Department of Justice since 2020.

Even that was conducted remotely – making the last in-person inspection five years ago in 2019.

Eli added: “They know this place should be shut down, and it is impossible, nearly impossible, for you to fight a case from MDC Brooklyn.

“Forget about your constitutional rights. Human rights here are a problem.”

In 2019, MDC was again in the national spotlight after inmates suffered days without heat or power during a cold snap.

Power and heating in parts of the jail were cut off after a fire, with inmates left in near freezing temperatures and total darkness after the sun went down.

The MDC has housed several high-profile individuals over the years[/caption]

Cameron Lindsay, a former warden at the jail, previously told the New York Times: “The MDC was one of the most troubled, if not the most troubled facility in the Bureau of Prisons.”

Despite issues raised ranging from overcrowding to human rights violence, it has remained one of the go-to locations to house both high-risk and high-profile detainees.

Right now, the jail is housing a trio of cartel figures – Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada, Nestor Perez “El Nini” and Genaro Garcia Luna.

Zambada was the co-founder of the infamous Sinaloa Cartel, while Perez has been identified as El Chapo’s top security man.

Luna is a former Mexican national Security Security being held for his links to the cartel.

Combs is one of the latest inmates to join the jail – despite his attorney’s pleas.

His lawyers noted “several courts in this District have recognized that the conditions at Metropolitan Detention Center are not fit for pre-trial detention”.

They wrote: “Just earlier this summer, an inmate was murdered.

“At least four inmates have died by suicide there in the past three years.”

In court filings, his attorneys argued that he should be released on a $50 million bail because he was struggling to find a place to live in New York City.

Diddy's downfall

By The U.S. Sun's Senior Reporter Forrest McFarland, who has been reporting on Diddy's legal battles for years

BEFORE Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest on Monday night, it had been highly speculated that the rap star would find himself in custody after he was repeatedly hit with disturbing accusations – and had two of his mansions raided by the feds.

His mounting legal troubles finally came to a head on September 17, when he was charged with three federal counts, including sex trafficking, for allegedly forcing victims to take part in drug-fueled sex parties he called “Freak Offs.”

Hours before his arrest, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed the feds investigating Combs were secretly liaising with Tupac Shakur murder prosecutors on gangland activities.

The development also came after Combs was named 77 times in documents submitted by prosecutors in the Tupac murder case.

Aside from the Tupac probe, Combs was already facing a slew of lawsuits, including one he settled with his ex, Cassie Ventura, after she accused him of rape and abuse.

Disturbing hotel surveillance video from 2016 showed Combs chasing Cassie down and then punching, kicking, and beating her in a hallway.

Two months earlier, in March 2024, two of Combs’ mansions were raided by federal investigators, who seized three AR-15s, drugs, and 1,000 bottles of lube which were part of his “Freak Off” supplies.

In addition to his federal criminal charges, Combs also faces a handful of lawsuits with allegations of sexual assault, harassment, and sex trafficking dating back to the early 1990s.

Music producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones filed one suit in February 2024, claiming Combs forced him to hire sex workers and participate in sex acts while he worked on his latest album.

Combs has denied any wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty to the federal sex trafficking charges against him, but his battle is far from over.

He faces life in prison if he’s convicted on all counts.

The lawyers cited the US Open and Fashion Week as some of the reasons why their client couldn’t land a month-long rental.

But prosecutors argued that Combs was a danger to the community and urged the judge to keep him locked up until trial.

Assistant US Attorney Emily Johnson said: “Mr. Combs physically and sexually abused victims for decades,”

“He used the vast resources of his company to facilitate his abuse and cover up his crimes.

“Simply put, he is a serial abuser and a serial constructor.”

The prosecutors then referenced a video that matched the footage of Combs chasing his ex, Cassie Ventura, in a hotel hallway and beating her, which CNN obtained in May.

They argued this was surefire proof that Combs shouldn’t be trusted to roam free alongside his alleged victims.

The rapper is alleged to have used “certain employees” to “carry out, facilitate and cover up his abuse and commercial sex [ring]”.

According to the indictment, “high-ranking supervisors” helped orchestrate “freak-offs” – which Combs called the alleged drug-fuelled sexual performances.

The unsealed indictment reveals Combs allegedly forced victims to have sex with sex workers and recorded the disturbing scenes.

Prosecutors allege: “Freak Offs were elaborate and produced sex performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded.”

Documents claim Combs arranged for sex workers to be transported internationally and across state lines for the “freak offs”, which sometimes lasted for multiple days and involved several sex workers.

Prosecutors said that Combs used “the sensitive, embarrassing, and incriminating recordings that he made during Freak Offs as collateral to ensure the continued obedience and silence of the victims.”

Recent lawsuits against Sean 'Diddy' Combs

Diddy was hit with a wave of lawsuits in late 2023 and 2024 with allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault. He has denied all claims against him.

  • November 17, 2023: Cassie, Diddy’s longtime girlfriend, sued him, claiming she endured “a cycle of abuse, violence, and sex trafficking” until their relationship ended in 2018. Diddy and Cassie settled the suit the day after it was filed.
  • Diddy was hit with two more lawsuits a week after he settled with Cassie.
  • November 23, 2023: Joi Dickerson accused Diddy of drugging and raping her and filming the attack when she was a 19-year-old college student in January 1991.
  • November 24, 2023: A second unidentified accuser in a separate lawsuit claimed that Diddy and another man sexually assaulted her and a friend in 1990 or 1991, then showed up at her apartment and beat her several days later.
  • December 6, 2023: Diddy was sued again by an unidentified woman who claimed he and two men gang-raped her in 2003 when she was 17 years old.
  • February 26, 2024: Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, who helped produce Diddy’s most recent album, claimed that the mogul sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened him from September 2022 to November 2023 as they worked together.
  • May 21, 2024: Model Crystal McKinney accused Combs of sexually assaulting her after meeting at a Men’s Fashion Week event in New York City in 2003. McKinney claims she was drinking alcohol and smoking weed with Combs and several of his colleagues when she took a hit off a joint that she claims was laced with another drug. McKinney claims she felt woozy, and Combs ordered her to the bathroom, where he allegedly forced her to perform oral sex on him.
  • May 23, 2024: April Lampros, 51, claimed in her lawsuit that she met Sean Combs in New York City in 1994 while attending the Fashion Institute of Technology. Combs is accused of drugging and raping Lampros in a hotel after promising to help mentor her in the fashion industry.
  • July 3, 2024: Adria English, an ex-porn star who went by Omunique, accused Diddy of grooming her into sex trafficking in the early 2000s, according to TMZ.

Moment Britain’s most prolific female shoplifter with 171 convictions flees store while disguised under huge hat

THIS is the moment Britain’s most prolific female shoplifter flees a store with an armful of stolen bags while hiding under a huge hat.

Tanya Liddle, dubbed a “one woman crimewave“, has racked up a staggering 171 convictions in total – including 150 for shoplifting.

The 43-year-old is so notorious among store workers in the North East of England she uses hats in a brazen bid to disguise herself.

CCTV shows Liddle, who has been arrested 400 times, wearing one of her headpieces while stealing £1,500 worth of designer bags from TK Maxx.

Footage shows her struggling to carry on the stolen bags on her arms as she casually strolls out of the store in Northumberland.

Liddle has now been banned from all shops in the area – barring one pharmacy, one supermarket and a clothes store.

Northumbria Police said it is the strictest order they have ever issued against a repeat offender.

The severity of the ban means shameless Liddle can be sent to prison if she breaches it.

Inspector Patrick Hannon said: “Liddle has consistently targeted retailers for a number of years and exhausted every opportunity given to her to change her ways.

“With that in mind, we feel that this is the best way to manage her offending.

“The severity of this order demonstrates the seriousness of her criminality and the significant impact it has had on the retail community within the region, which is something we will simply not accept.

“I hope this ruling sends a clear message to other shoplifters that your behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be brought to justice.

“I’d like to reassure the public that should we find Liddle to be in a premises she shouldn’t be, we will not hesitate to take action and get her arrested.”

Anyone who witnesses Liddle in a premises she is prohibited from entering can ring police on 101 to report her.

Married At First Sight UK mystery as former best friends ‘fall out’ VERY publicly after ‘assault’ claims

TWO Married At First Sight best pals have fallen out amid ‘assault’ claims, fans have claimed.

Whitney Hughes and April Banbury might not have found true love on the 2022 series of the show, but they did strike up a strong friendship.

They had been inseparable in the two years since the show[/caption]

However, eagle-eyed Mafs fans now appear to have spotted trouble between them.

One person commented in an online forum: “Whitney posted about a week ago that one of her friends assaulted her and she was taking a break from social media.

“Just had a look and neither now follow each other. Wonder what happened as they seemed to do everything together.”

Another person commented: “I was wondering about this too – they had seemed to be really close friends until whatever this incident was.”

The ‘assault’ post is no longer visible. As of today, neither April or Whitney are following each other.

A representative for April declined to comment, while Whitney is yet to respond.

Former Miss Great Britain April, who wed George Roberts on the show, said Mafs caused her deep trauma and “ruined her life”.

More recently she’s been living with a painful chronic injury: spinal stenosis.

She told her fans earlier this year: “I have spinal stenosis (there’s no cure for that, I was told I will have chronic pain for life) my nerves are deeply compressed, but they don’t know what’s causing it, so I’m seeing a spinal specialist in a few weeks to investigate.

“It’s going to take sometime for me to process this could be my life now, but I still don’t want to give up hope that one I could be back to some what of a normal life.

“I just can’t imagine living life like this.

“The pain is indescribable and constant. I feel like I’m just existing day to day, and now I need a new purpose because life is not as I once knew it.

“It’s crazy because I feel too young to have such a debilitating injury, but it just shows what heavy lifting over a long period of time can cause.”

Meanwhile Whitney famously had an affair with heavily tattooed Matt Murray on the programme after originally marrying Duka Cav.

They have since split and Whitney has led a glamorous life ever since.

She made a telly return earlier this year on OnlyFans show There’s a Catch with a number of other influencers.

The show saw them working on a fishing boat in the Med in order to maintain a luxury lifestyle.

‘Personal fluffing’, Pammie’s kiss ban & star doing meth during filming… Inside the shocking secrets of Baywatch

IT’S an iconic show famed for gorgeous stars, skimpy swimsuits and making Pamela Anderson a star – now a new tell-all docu-series is set to reveal all about the iconic 90s TV show.

The long-running series first aired in 1989 and followed the lives of the lifeguards who patrolled the beaches of Los Angeles County.

At its peak, Baywatch, which also starred David Hasselhoff, Carmen Electra and Yasmin Bleeth, had an estimated 1.1 billion viewers around the world and it still holds the Guinness World Record for the most watched TV series.

It ran until 2001 and spawned several spin-offs – and even a 2017 film starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron.

Now, a new four-part Disney+ series, After Baywatch: Moment In The Sun, takes fan back to the beach to unveil the secrets behind the hit show, including dozens of new cast interviews and never-before-seen footage.

Playboy partnership

Back in the Nineties, Baywatch casting directors often looked to the pages of Playboy magazine as part of its hunt for new female talent.

The documentary tells how posing for the adult magazine would normally put the kibosh on getting acting roles but with Baywatch, the more Playboy they had done the more it boosted their TV careers.

Baywatch makers met Pamela Anderson, who first posed for Playboy in 1989, through the magazine’ founder Hugh Hefner, according to the film.

It has also been reported they asked her to audition for their show 12 times – and even persisted when she didn’t show up.

In 1992, Pammie landed the role of C.J Parker on the iconic show, cementing the blonde bombshell’s status as a sex symbol and helping to turn Baywatch into a worldwide hit.

Pamela’s sex tape nearly got her the sack

In the four-part series, Baywatch co-creator and producer Michael Berk reveals Pammie was almost written off the show following the release of her now infamous 1995 sex tape with her then-husband Tommy Lee.

He recalls: “When Pam’s sex tape came out, the studio said, ‘Look, write her out of a couple of episodes, we’ve got to figure out what we’ll do with this, this is a disaster.”

But according to the TV screenwriter the hour-long home video, which was stolen from the couple’s Malibu home and leaked, actually had the opposite effect and actually boosted Baywatch’s ratings and so she kept her job.

He says: “The next episode that aired, it shot up in the ratings. It got like twice the ratings.”

Speaking about the scandal in a previously unaired interview, which features in the documentary, Pamela, now 59, says: “It was stolen property. It was two crazily naked people in love. We were naked all the time and filming each other, being silly.

“But those tapes were not meant for anybody else to see. I have not seen it to this day, it was very hurtful.”

Pamela’s kissing ban

While Pamela’s off screen antics with Tommy were good for ratings, his behaviour on set certainly wasn’t ideal.

Co-creator Michael Bergin says: “Pammie came to one day and said please rewrite this scene where I have to kiss David Chokachi. Tommy’s feeling is just feeling really insecure right now. It’s not a good time and don’t make me kiss David Chokachi.’”

Speaking to the Guardian last year, the actress told how the Mötley Crüe drummer would arrive on set every day, claiming “wife time”. “

She added: “Tommy was so jealous. I thought that’s what love is.”

Michael reveals how Tommy once “trashed” Pamela’s trailer when he arrived and she wasn’t there – because she was filming a scene with David, now 56, who played hunky lifeguard Cody Madison.

Actor David says in the doc: “Tommy Lee took our scenes when we were girlfriend boyfriend on the show at face value.

“He got really upset. I felt bad for her because she was under a lot of pressure.”

Leonardo DiCaprio is now an Oscar-winning movie star and as a 15-year-old, he was the favourite to play David Hasselhoff’s on-screen son Hobie Buchanan in Baywatch.

But after being bowled over by a 10-year-old Jeremy Jackson during his audition, The Hoff put his foot down.

Brought up by a single mum, the youngster told the Hoff: “I don’t need a dad.”

Speaking in an old interview he did Baywatch: The Documentary, which features in the new Disney+ series, David says: “It really got me.” He adds: “I fought for him.”

However in 2016, Michael Berk said: “We actually had DiCaprio ready to be cast but David thought he was too old to play his son.

“David thought it would make him look older. He had a lot of concerns of that type.”

Drug claims

As Hobie, Jeremy Jackson played a pivotal role in the show and confesses in the TV docu-series that he was using meth during his final season on Baywatch.

He said: “I remember David saying ‘Are you smoking pot or something?’

“And I was like, Jesus, they think I’m smoking pot? I could never tell them the truth. What would they think?”

He added: “When you haven’t slept for five days and you’ve been smoking crystal meth, having somebody look you in the eyes and say ‘Dude, are you okay?’ is like the worst thing that can happen.”

Jeremy, now 43, has previously revealed that problems with drugs contributed to his departure from the hit show.

The show is synonymous with the iconic high cut red swimsuit worn by the Baywatch babes. Yet, the documentary reveals it subtly changed during the years to help draw in fans

Actress Kelly Packard, who played April Giminski, says in the docu series: “Over the years, they went higher and higher and higher and it was ridiculous. You couldn’t even function in it.”

Angelica Bridges, who starred as Taylor Walsh, adds: “I remember looking at it, going ‘you want me to wear this? What?!’”

‘Personal fluffing’

It wasn’t just the women who bared all on Baywatch. Carmen says: “I think Baywatch was ahead of its time because men were featured and men looked hot.”

David Chokachi reveals in the documentary series that he used to do “a little personal fluffing” to help boost his package in his tiny Speedos.

He recalls: “The bummer was though a lot of the times it’s 6.30am, it’s freezing and it’s like ‘alright, get in the water’. The shrinkage is ridiculous.

“I had my own technique. I would basically try and find a towel or a jacket to hide under and do a little personal fluffing and then you know it created a little circulation and you could kind of represent yourself a little bit better.”

Model was scouted in his pants

Another Baywatch hunk, Michael Bergin, got the role of Jack ‘JD’ Darius in 1997 after the model was spotted by casting directors in his pants for a Calvin Klein advert.

Unknown Michael, now 55, replaced Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg as the designer’s underwear model in 1995 and became a household name overnight, featuring in ad campaigns alongside British supermodel Kate Moss.

Michael Berk says in the doc: “Michael Bergin came in and he was very raw but very good looking.”

He adds: “Every woman in the office came to us and said, ‘you’ve got to cast him, he’s your guy.’”

The former model, who is now a successful estate agent in Beverly Hills, says: “Baywatch is absolutely something that changed my life.”

The documentary also reveals there was a friendly rivalry between the male cast on who had the best body.

Michael says: “Chokachi looked damned good in his Speedos but I think I looked a little better.”

He adds: “I guess you could call me Captain Underpants.”

And David Hasselhoff recalls how they even had something called “the rolling six pack” when they were filming on the beach.

The Knight Rider actor adds: “They said ‘rolling’ and everybody held it in and you’d do the scene then they’d shout ‘cut’ and you’d let it out.”

Carmen Electra ‘lied’ about her swimming experience

Carmen Electra pretended she was an “amazing” swimmer

Auditions can be nerve wracking enough but the four-part series reveals how actors didn’t just have to look good, they also had to take part in a test.

Speaking in the doc, Alexandra Paul, who played Lt. Stephanie Holden in the television series Baywatch from 1992 to 1997, says: “All of the actors had to start taking part in a swimming test before they were cast because actors will say they can do anything.”

She adds with a laugh: “There were a few actors who said, ‘oh yeah, I can swim’ when they couldn’t.”

Recalling her audition, Carmen Electra, who got her big break after landing the part of Lani McKenzie in the show in 1997, says: “I auditioned with Hasselhoff. He was right there in front of me. I was so nervous.

“I got through that phase and then the next phase was putting on the red suit. So I put on the red suit, modelled it around. Then, the producer said, ‘Can you swim?’ I said, ‘Of course, I’m great. I’m an amazing swimmer.’

“I remember standing on the edge of this pool and I said a prayer and I just thought ‘dive like you’re a dancer, tuck in your chin and go for it.’ And I made it. I made it on the show.”

The former glamour model also says cast members also had to go through lifeguard “rookie school” including “running on burning hot sand” as well mastering the “technique” of the show’s infamous slo-mo run along the beach.

Carmen, now 52, says: “I still run in slow motion for people. It’s become this worldwide thing.”

She loves teaching it to people, adding: “I’m game and I love it. There was a technique to it.”

As well as Pamela Anderson, Baywatch also launched the showbiz careers of others, including Aquaman star Jason Momoa who made his acting debut as Jason Ioane on the syndicated action spin-off drama series Baywatch: Hawaii, which ran from 1999 until 2001.

The documentary tells how thousands of hopefuls attended the open casting call in Jason’s native.

Former casting director Fern Oreinstein says in the doc: “The minute Jason walked in we were like, ‘ok, we’ve got our guy. He was the perfect Baywatch lifeguard. We hired him right away.”

Waterloo Road’s Liam Scholes goes red-carpet official with new girlfriend weeks after split with

JUST months after his shock split from Corrie star Elle Mulvaney, it appears that actor Liam Scholes has moved on already.

The Waterloo Road actor, 21, attended the launch of the 101 Dalmatians Music at The Palace Theatre in Manchester, walking arm in arm down the red carpet with pretty blonde, Roisin Riley.

Looking smitten as they posed for the flashing cameras, Liam was showing no signs of mourning the end of his two-year relationship, as he rubbed shoulders with the stars including Kym Marsh who stars as Cruella Devil in the musical and veteran Corrie actor Anthony Cotton.

Actor Liam had got together with Amy Barlow actress, Elle Mulvaney, during his stint on the cobbles playing thug Eli Higginson back in 2022.

Liam who fronts the Manchester indie band The Lanks was involved in a controversial storyline where his character, helped evil Corey Brent to cover up the murder of Seb Franklin who died after a vicious street attack.

Previously Elle told The Sun what she likes in a man, she said:

“I definitely like somebody with confidence,” she said. “I’m confident myself, so it wouldn’t work with somebody shy.”

Indeed their split came as something of a shock to friends and colleagues.

A source said: “Elle and Liam were loves young dream and did everything together.

“Their split has really shocked their co-stars and family and no one knows exactly what happened.

“It was all very sudden and they have both made it clear to pals it would take a miracle for them to get back together again.”

In an interview Elle revealed that she has to be cautious about potential suitors being seduced by her fame and fan base, as a regular on the Britain’s flagship soap opera.

She said: “There are telltale signs,” she explained. “If you’re on a date with somebody and all they are interested in is who I saw at work it’s a bit of a red flag.”

In the same interview, she insisted she’s worlds away from her tearaway Corrie character.

Rebellious Amy got pregnant at 14 then had a secret abortion, and viewers often see her partying and drinking in the soap with her friends.

Elle explained: “I like baking and running. I’m a goody two shoes and I never went to a club before I was 18.

“Because I was on television, I felt I couldn’t do things like that without getting into trouble. It was a bit irritating, but now I look back and actually I’m grateful, because I didn’t make any stupid mistakes.”

Meanwhile, Liam who has also appeared on BBC’s Peaky Blinders now stars as regular Noel McManus on the Beeb’s Waterloo Road drama series.

‘It sounds Disneyfied’ – Gary Neville reveals ‘World of Man Utd’ plan and ‘doesn’t care’ if Old Trafford is demolished

GARY Neville has played a huge part in Man Utd’s past success – and now he’s about to have a big say on the club’s future.

The former Red Devils defender has been appointed to a task force looking at the regeneration of Old Trafford and the surrounding areas.

The club’s owners are reportedly keen on building a 100,000-seater replacement[/caption]

Man Utd fans are keen for the board to renovate the Field of Dreams and bring it into the 21st century.

Minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is now in charge of football operations and appears desperate to build a new stadium.

Ratcliffe’s ideal arena could seat 100,000 people and cost an eye-watering £2BILLION.

Old Trafford has been beset with issues in recent years, including leaky roofs and frustrating engineering obstacles.

Athletics legend Sebastian Coe, mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham, and Supporters Trust CEO Duncan Drasdo have all joined Neville on the task force.

According to The Athletic, the group will bring forward a “recommendation for the future of Manchester Utd’s stadium by the end of December.”

Neville explained to the outlet: “The reason I was chosen is multi-faceted – I played for Utd, I support Utd, I’ve got a business in the area, a university too.

“We’re all there not to help Manchester Utd build the best stadium but to make sure that the best outcome is arrived at for everybody in Trafford, Greater Manchester and beyond.

FOOTBALL FREE BETS AND SIGN UP DEALS

“We know that Manchester Utd want to build or refurbish/redevelop [but] we don’t know which solution will be arrived at.”

Neville hopes Wembley Stadium can serve as a blueprint for the group moving forward.

He claims there has been “significant change in Wembley around the stadium,” adding that “thousands of jobs and homes have been created.”

The Sky Sports pundit continued: “What I want to see is a world of Manchester Utd around that stadium – of opportunity, hope and belief.

“It sounds Disneyfied, but I don’t mean a theme park. I mean where people visit that area and think, ‘Wow’.”

“In five, six or seven years, I want United to have the best stadium and training ground in the world, plus doing the right things on the football side.

“That will come again and we’re patient.”

What we know about the 'new' Old Trafford

MANCHESTER UNITED plan to build a new stadium rather than redevelop Old Trafford.

The decision was made after a number of fact-finding missions to other stadiums including the Bernabeu and Nou Camp.

The cost of the project is expected to be a staggering £2billion.

A capacity of 100,000 is expected.

It is felt that a club of United’s standing should have a new state-of-the-art facility.

The new stadium will be built on land adjacent to the Red Devils’ current home.

United are looking to not only build a stadium but regenerate the area of Trafford where the ground will stand.

They plan to KEEP Old Trafford rather than demolish it, and use it as a second venue.

They will scale it down to a 30,000-seater that can then be used for the women’s team and academy matches.

That would mean the history remains with statues and the Munich clock and memorial plaque all most likely staying in their current positions.

The club consulted with 30,000 fans about what to do and believe there is roughly a 50-50 split on staying or moving.

Old Trafford has been United’s home since 1910.

The target is for completion by 2030.

Man Utd have played at Old Trafford since 1909, with the last major renovations completed in 2006.

It currently has a capacity of 74,310, making it the Premier League‘s biggest ground.

Despite its storied history, Neville admits he would be willing to say goodbye – if it meant success for both the team and the surrounding areas.

Neville added: “Everyone gets bogged down on whether it should be a new stadium or a redevelopment – and rightly so.

“That’s the question where everyone is at. Honestly, I’ve got a vast experience in redevelopment and rebuild in real estate. One or the other is not the most important thing to me.

“Whether we create a new and bigger version of Tottenham’s stadium or do what Real Madrid did with the Bernabeu.

“Either outcome for me is a success because if Manchester United end up with a world-class stadium, new or developed, I genuinely don’t care.”
