The DIY SOS anchor was quick to heap praise on his “wonderful” celebrity partner as he told how she was “the perfect combination of incredibly brilliant and incredibly patient.”

Nick, 61, appeared on Thursday’s episode of ITV daytime show Lorraine by performing a mini routine.

And while he told how getting to grips with ballroom and Latin routines had been a struggle, he admitted seeing benefits in his body.

Host Lorraine Kelly gushed how he had “already won” courtesy of having Russian Luba, 34, as a professional partner.

Nick told of their rehearsals and said: “It was tough to start with because I have never done anything like this at all.

“I was a flat footed rugby player for years.

“But little by little she [Luba] has made this 18-stone man a little lighter on his feet.”

Lorraine then asked for the details of his weight loss, to which the BBC favourite revealed it was “13 kilos, so far.”

Talk then turned to Strictly’s new chaperone policy.

It came into being after Giovanni Pernice, 33, quit the BBC show earlier this year.

Previously, Sherlock star Amanda told the Lorraine show she had flagged concerns about the Italian’s conduct on the very first week.

His exit came as he is currently under investigation by the BBC over misconduct after complaints were filed by several of his former celebrity dance partners – claims he strongly denies.

The same investigation also saw his fellow Italian professional Graziano Di Prima axed after allegations of “physical incidents” towards show partner Zara McDermott, 27.

Luba told the show: “It’s wonderful to have someone in the room.

“It’s wonderful. Sometimes I like to film the routine to take some notes, so it’s great to have someone in the room.”

Nick told how the wider backstage team were “very kind and supportive” and how he had received all the physical and psychological help needed.

Yet referring to the complaints submitted to the investigation, he added: “It’s important people have been listened to going forward.”

Last month, Nick told how he had been in the gym and on a strict diet to prepare for the dance show.

Earlier this year, he cruelly compared himself to a “whale” as he joked about his weight.

KIM Kardashian looked sensational as she showed off her abs in Calabasas before climbing into her $100k custom Tesla Cybertruck.

Kim’s latest look appears to be a return to form after some questionable fashion choices earlier this summer.

Fans of the star called for a stylist to intervene after a run of figure-hugging duds, and some even suggested superstar Kim’s team were too scared to advise her.

Wardrobe consultant Amanda Sanders suggested the influencer was “struggling” to put on the right clothes.

She went so far as to describe a cream fur piece Kim posted on Instagram as “an awful look, no matter what she puts on it.”

“It would still look terrible even if Kim was much thinner,” Sanders told The U.S. Sun.

“Kim is also getting older and may be going through a midlife style crisis.

“We will see good outfits and bad ones, as well.”

According to Sanders, Kim’s wardrobe malfunctions hinge partly on her “glam squad” not guiding her.

“Kim can look great when her stylists are around to dress and accessorize her,” she said.

“But outside of that, the scenario for Kim is like the Emperor’s New Clothes.

“No one would challenge Kim’s clothing choices.

“This is despite her struggle to put on the right ones and get out of the door on time.

“When she styles herself, it is not as form-fitting or flattering as it could be when she has somebody else’s opinion and help.

“Younger stars no longer even look at Kim Kardashian as a fashion icon.”

That being said, Kim could be right to trust her instincts, after all she’s the brain behind the money-spinning SKIMS fashion brand which has taken the world by storm and is estimated to be worth $4billion.

The womenswear leisure brand did a staggering $750m in sales last year alone.

In addition to smashing E4 records, MAFS UK was also watched by more young people last night than any other show airing at 9pm.

This meant E4 shot to the top as the number one digital channel at 9pm for audiences of all ages.

The first episode of this new season also had twice as many viewers as the premiere of MAFS UK 2023.

It’s no wonder that audiences are tuning in en masse, as this series of MAFS has already featured some of the most chaotic moments in the dating show’s history.

For starters, one bride has already apparently left the experiment after a series of explosive rows with her wife.

Same-sex couple Charlie and Eve initially saw sparks fly between them, and within 24 hours of tying the knot, Charlie admitted they had already had sex “a few times”.

During a bedroom conversation, the two later admitted they felt their connection was “natural” as they discussed how the romance had gotten off to a good start.

However, this soon changed when Eve asked for space, calling Charlie “full on”.

As Charlie expressed her frustrations that Eve “shut down” when they tried to address their problems, her new wife stormed off for the third time in one episode.

It was this reaction that caused Charlie to declare that she was ready to quit the show.

She shouted out to Eve: “I’ll be leaving the experiment now.

“They’ll be no moving in together, no apartments, nothing – Goodbye!”

She then added: “I’ll go and enjoy my evening – alone.

“Like I have done all f***ing honeymoon.”

Meanwhile, another wedding ceremony left viewers cringing in embarrassment as the groom hit on the bride’s mum AND twin sister.

Once Lacey’s friends let her know that Nathan made comments about fancying her twin, Paige, the mood at the reception quickly turned sour.

On top of that, one of the grooms has already faced backlash for suggesting a wife swap in the first episode.

Alexander Henry plunged the show into chaos before his comments about exchanging brides even aired, as it came out that he abandoned his post with the RAF without permission to appear on MAFS.

Yet ex-Premier League star Nigel Reo-Coker has tipped Moyes to eventually make an emotional return to Goodison Park.

And Reo-Coker reckons Moyes would not be able to resist a Merseyside reunion.

He told the BBC’s Football Daily podcast: “When you look at what’s happening now as well – yes Sean Dyche was (already there) – but Everton have been trending this same way for so long.

“I’m not putting it out there but there is a certain David Moyes who knows that club very well, inside out, who currently isn’t managing anyone.

“The pressure is different now on Sean Dyche, where Everton might look to change the manager and bring someone else in for new ideas or a fresh start.”
