Incredible flying saucer jet boat created with an interior fit for aliens – and it glows like a UFO at night too

AN inventor has gone viral on YouTube after making his very on UFO-style jet boat.

The incredible creation even glows in the night like an ominous extraterrestrial visitor gliding across water.

At night it gives an eerie glow[/caption]

Genius craftsman Tran Long Ho, from Vietnam, come up with the wild idea.

Hour-long footage, which has already been watched more than 10million times on YouTube, shows the crafty creator build the unique boat from beginning to end, and takes it for a ride on the waters too.

As well as looking like a flying saucer commonly depicted in Hollywood movies, he’s added hexagonal shapes with neon lighting.

There are even slick sliding door panels.

On them, he’s inscribed a message reading: “The Universe is vast and life is endless.”

Inside, we see a number of controls but there’s only enough room for one.

Mr Ho started the building process with a simple flying saucer-shaped sand mould for the top section.

He creates a hard shell by adding a thin layer of concrete onto it.

Then he applies sheets of fibreglass and epoxy that form the eventual body of the jet boat, and repeats the process for the bottom half.

As the powerboat takes shape we also see him install solar panel segments and LED lights.

And of course, a grey lick of paint.

The contraption can reach speeds of 31 mph, according to Vietnamese news site Tuoi Tre News.

Commenters on YouTube have reacted in amazement at the video.

“Never in my life have I seen so much talent in one individual. You are a gift to all mankind,” one user wrote.

“If he can build something so sophisticated in his backyard, imagine what he can do with a fully equipped workshop,” another said.

A third added: “I am a retired engineer with 73 years. This video brought me back to when I was a young boy.”

Mr Ho has made quite the name for himself online as inventor.

Other videos on YouTube show him building a yacht and even restoring cars.

It’s not clear how much the flying saucer jet boat cost to make but on a different project he revealed he spent about £612.

FAMOUS UFO INCIDENTS

The ‘Night of the UFOs’ is among many famous unexplained encounters with strange objects in the sky that have happened down the years.

Perhaps the most striking was a video known as the ‘Tic-Tac’ – which showed an unidentified object being pursued by fighter planes.

While flying off the coast of California 2004, two pilots from the USS Nimitz on a routine training mission spotted an object “shaped like a 40ft Tic Tac sweet”.

Then in 2005, a veteran pilot of an F/A – 18 fighter aircraft witnessed a raft of strange objects in the sky during a training exercise off the coast of Florida.

The two videos were sensationally released by the Pentagon in 2017.

Tragically the pursuit of UFOs has also claimed lives, notably that of US Air Force Captain Thomas Mantell.

He died after being sent to chase a mysterious object in his fighter aircraft in 1948.

Other encounters with the air force include a claim that UFOs disabled weapons at a nuclear base.

Captain Robert Salas said the bizarre incident unfolded in 1967 while he was the on-duty commander of a secret underground launch control facility at Montana’s Malmstrom Air Force Base.

US forces based in Britain also had an encounter with a strange glowing in the sky in Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk.

Two airmen, Staff Sgt Jim Penniston and Airman John Burroughs, claim they got so close to a triangular craft they actually touched it.

Earlier this year, US military documents were released showing how a warship was shadowed by two “ball of light” UFOs deepening the mystery around the case.

Fears of BOMBS being snuck into everyday gadgets sparks global security alert as airlines ban pagers after Israeli blitz

ISRAEL’S pager blitz has sparked fears that bombs could be snuck into everyday gadgets.

Thousands were injured and dozens were killed by Mossad agents after they twice surprised terror group Hezbollah with hidden explosives.

Flyers departing Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport are now prohibited from having pagers or walkie-talkies on them[/caption] a poster that says pager sabotage on it

The shock attack has caught the world’s attention with the complexity of the operation and its size.

Lebanon’s Civil Aviation has now banned pagers and walkie-talkies from being taken on aircraft departing from Beirut.

That ban includes both carry-on and checked luggage and any found by security will be confiscated.

Ex-military intelligence officer Philip Ingram said there could be “panic around the world” with airports and planes now more vulnerable than before.

An Israel-style mass quantity attack would pose a major threat for airports screening tens of thousands of passengers a day.

Aviation expert Jeff Price said a terror group might struggle to use the same volume as a organised spy agency but, like Israel, they could use everyday items to hide explosives.

And authorities will now be looking shore up their systems and keep air travel safe.

Mr Ingram told The Sun: “Governments will be asking their airports and other places if their X-Ray machines and other scanning machines if they could pick up these things [explosives].

“It will have people thinking and thinking hard about wider security issues.”

He said only a percentage of devices were checked and they were looked at by human operators, who make mistakes.

Counter-intelligence spies will now be searching through sensitive supply chains to their countries to see if they would be vulnerable.

“As soon as you get a novel style of attack that has been successful in this stage, every government around the world will be sitting going: ‘right, let’s add another piece into our contingency to make sure we’re looking for this.”

Ingram said firms would also now be searching through their business partners and supply chains to check if it could be taken advantage of.

“I suspect it [being sabotaged] might put them out of business completely because no one’s going to use that shipping company if they can’t control and keep security over goods that are in transit.”

Price said safety measures can’t pick up every prohibited item that goes through security as it is a “numbers game”.

The aviation security expert said: “You put so many [bombs] into a system, and it just increases your chances of something getting through.

“Even with the best technology and the best detector personnel out there, you’ll put enough stuff through a lot of different areas and at one point in time something is is frankly bound to get through.”

Price said a tiny minority of people are able to sneak guns, knives, and even drugs through current screening methods.

“The problem is we don’t know how many we’re missing,” he said.

“The more we detect the more we can presume that there’s been
misses in the past.

“We know that things get missed. There’s no 100 per cent detection.”

But he did back current checks being stringent enough to stop any coordinated attack as spies and cops would also be working to foil it.

Price said that even if someone was able to try and board a plane they would still have to make it past people on lookout and scanning machines.

And current security methods and and technology are now also being improved with AI technology, he said.

“We haven’t had a major aviation accident in a long time,” he said.

“It’s still considered the safest form of travel.”

Mossad was only able to carry out the attack after a long period of planning and preparing for the operation.

The speed of shipments increased recently after the group’s leadership pushed to stop members using cellphones and use pagers, which the Israelis could compromise.

Hezbollah is a “criminal organisation” and uses a number of fronts to buy and sell the weapons and resources the group needs.

These fronts are called “monkey firms” by the Israelis.

Mossad was able to penetrate Hezbollah’s supply chain, possibly with its own “monkeys”, and completely fool Hezbollah.

Where did the pagers come from?

By James Halpin, Foreign News Reporter

Iranian proxy Hezbollah ordered the pagers months ago but never thought the quaint piece of tech could be tampered with.

Hezbollah shifted to pagers after the group’s leader told members to stop using phones in February over fears they could be tracked by Israeli spies.

A senior Lebanese security source said the group had ordered 5,000 beepers made by Taiwan-based Gold Apollo, which were brought into the country in the spring.

But Gold Apollo told media in Taipei today the specific order was manufactured by BAC Consulting KFT in Budapest.

Gold Apollo boss Hsu Ching-kuang said BAC asked to manufacture their own pagers with the company’s trademark and they were paid from a mystery Middle Eastern bank account, NPR reports.

BAC Consulting chief executive Cristiana Bársony-Arcidiacono confirmed to media that her company worked with Gold Apollo.

But said, “I don’t make the pagers. I am just the intermediate.”

At some point during the manufacture, the devices were modified by Israel’s spy service with a small amount of explosive.

The AR-924 pager is described as being “rugged” and contains a rechargeable lithium battery with 85 days of battery life.

Their longevity would be important in Lebanon which has suffered major power outages.

Pagers also run on a different wireless network than mobile phones, making them more resilient in emergencies and harder for Israel to hack digitally.

The affected pagers were only delivered to Hezbollah recently.

Reports now claim Mossad set up shell companies to build the devices themselves.

But the New York Times reported BAC is an Israeli shell company, one of at least three used by spies to mask their identity.

BAC took on ordinary clients for whom they produced ordinary pagers.

Pagers sent to Hezbollah, however, contained the explosive PETN.

Domestic abuse charity worker attacked her ex-partner by slashing his arms with kitchen knife in campaign of violence

A DOMESTIC abuse charity worker attacked her partner by slashing his arms with a kitchen knife in a brutal assault.

Jayne Rudd, 32, stabbed Sam Leopold three times just weeks after he took out a restraining order on her.

She has been jailed for three years[/caption]

The public schoolgirl – a former communications managed with the Olive Pathway domestic abuse charity – had waged a nightmare ordeal against her ex.

She received a suspended sentence last year following a horrific attack on the tree surgeon.

Despite this, the raging thug went to a friend’s house where Sam was staying yelling out his name.

She then knocked the door of its hinges before slashing at her ex with a kitchen knife.

Sam managed to flee to a neighbour’s home and call the police, who found her asleep on the sofa in a drunken stupor.

Rudd has now been jailed for three years and slapped with a new restraining order banning her from contacting her ex for life.

In a victim impact statement, Sam bravely told the court: “I became used to being assaulted by her which I knew wasn’t right but I was aware she had mental health issues.

“She is dangerous to be around and this latest incident is clear evidence of that.

“It doesn’t matter if she has a non-molestation order or a restraining order to protect me. She will always find a way back to me and that me me feel unsafe.

“Although a number of months have passed since this latest incident, it has affected my mental health and I am constantly on edge for when she is eventually released. I am constantly looking over my shoulder.

“I do not wish to see Miss Rudd ever again but I will never know if this is the last time she will contact me.”

How to get help

Men can call Men’s Advice Line on 0808 8010 327 (Monday to Friday 10am to 8pm), or visit the webchat at Men’s Advice Line (Wednesday 10am to 11.30am and 2.30pm to 4pm).

Alternatively, ring ManKind on 0182 3334 244 (Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm) or email info@mensadviceline.org.uk

Manchester Crown Court heard how Rudd was previously been given 34 weeks in jail suspended for 18 months after she verbally abused Sam in a pub before punching him.

He tried to break of contact with his stalker ex but she bombarded him with 300 texts begging for forgiveness.

In September 2022, she was given a community order after mauling a police officer when she refused to leave a property.

Brendan O’Leary, defending, told the court Rudd has mental issues dating back to a childhood trauma.

Sentencing, the judge told her that she was “a highly intelligent woman but with a very troubled history”.

Ultra-rare 1p coins with two specific dates could sell for £100k – how to spot if you have hidden treasure

A SIMPLE 1p coin could be worth a whopping £100k – if it has one of two specific dates on it.

A TikTok user showcased the two coins in a recent video, claiming “these two old pennies can make you a millionaire”.

A TikTok user has revealed two dates that could mean your 1p is worth thousands[/caption]

The first is a George 5th penny with the date 1933.

The TikToker, who goes by @thecoincollectoruk, told his 129,000 followers: “There are thought to be less than 10 of these.

“One of them resold at auction for £127,248 and others in the £70,000 to £80,000 range.

“It’s definitely the most valuable penny to ever exist.”

The second is a Queen Elizabeth penny, dated 1954.

The coin enthusiast explained: “There is only one of these known to have survived from a trial run of several hundreds according to the Royal Mint.

“This means the 1954 is also extremely rare penny, the last one sold in 1991 for £23,100.

“It’s likely worth even more now with inflation accounted for.”

He added that there is also an “MS 63 version of the coin which could be worth up to £60,000″.

The post was flooded with nearly 500 comments, with millionaire hopefuls asking if the dates on their pennies were significant.

One asked: “I have a 1918 penny is it worth anything”.

The poster replied: “No”.

Another bragged: “i have this coin”.

But the TikToker wasn’t convinced, quipping: “Doubt it”.

These are not the only coins that could make their lucky owners a huge profit.

A 2p with a subtle wording mistake – “New Pence” instead of “Two Pence” – could be worth around £1000.

Meanwhile, 50p coins decorated with a cartoon high-jumper for the 2012 London Olympics have been selling for as much as £142 and £216.

Another coin designed for the Games – which was minted with horizontal lines mistakenly etched into it – can fetch an enormous £3000 at auction.

It’s also worth checking the £2 coins lurking in your loose change, as a specific cat design could mean they’re worth over 100 times they’re usual value.

What are the most rare and valuable coins?

Is the I’m on Top of the World Suite the best in Spain?

Holidaymakers who want to glimpse the glittering life of a celebrity might want to book an overnight stay at the I’m on Top of the World suite.

Located on the eighth floor of the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, the suite spans for 200 square metres.

It has all the features you’d expect to find inside a plush hotel suite, including a king-size bed, a cluster of armchairs, a walk-in wardrobe, two bathrooms and a dining room table.

The sprawling suite has plenty of wow-factor amenities like a jacuzzi in the bedroom, a DJ table and stereo system, a huge 63-inch flat-screen TV and a champagne fridge.

There’s also a balcony with sofa beds, armchairs, hammocks and a jacuzzi – in case you were worried one wasn’t enough.

Guests are also given a Hermes welcome kit and a bottle of champagne upon arrival.

Some interesting extras can also be requested like tattoo kits and a bar stocked with alcoholic drinks.

And it’s not just the amenities that make the suite arguably one of the best in Spain, it’s the hotel services that are available to guests like a complimentary massage and preferential treatment over sunbeds.

Away from the rooms, there’s plenty to keep guests entertained like the hotel’s well-known stage where music legends have performed.

There are plenty of other amenities in the hotel, including five restaurants and two pools.

What is it like to stay at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel?

I’d already visited Ibiza four times, but for my 40th I wanted to go all out and stay at the cult hotel and club Ushuaïa, which opened in 2011. After all, you don’t go to Ibiza to sleep (although we did get some kip in the enormous bed and on the private beach).

Follow the beat
Just 10 minutes drive from Ibiza airport, we get our first glimpse of the Ushuaïa Tower, clad with giant wildflowers.

The aroma of mandarin and ginger, the hotel’s signature fragrance, wafts down the red carpet, while the modern arty decor, electronic dance soundtrack and welcome treats of sex on the beach cocktail lollies show us that we’ve found the right place.

From frogs dancing in the flowerbeds to giant ants climbing the whitewashed walls, the design is unique. There’s the spectacular party pool, private plunge pools and Playa d’en Bossa’s golden sands just steps away.

Everyone who’s anyone has played Ushuaïa, and this year Calvin Harris returns to a residency, alongside David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia. If you’re staying at the hotel, you’re on the guest list!

Our superior double room has mirrored walls, a waterfall shower, Clarins toiletries and a “maxibar” with spirits and snacks plus glitter tattoos and diamanté face masks.

At The Beach Club, we find beautiful feather-clad dancers and wellness cabanas offering massages.

Japanese restaurant Minami sits directly behind the main stage, offering incredible sushi, from £2 a piece and a front-row seat at the party, while Montauk Steakhouse cooks meat to perfection – try the sharing plate of tenderloin, ribeye, skirt steak and pichana, £41.50 per person.

Elsewhere, The Oyster & Caviar poolside bar has ceviche and fresh oysters on ice, £7 each, served with low-tempo beats, and The Beach by Ushuaia dishes up sharing paellas, from £32 per person, as well as the Unexpected Breakfast – with everything from steak to ice cream on offer come sunrise.

By Catherine Bennion-Pedley

The hotel has been praised by guests on TripAdvisor, with a 4.5/5 star rating from thousands of reviews.

One person wrote: “My husband and myself have Been going to Ushuaia for quite a few years now and the experience is exceptional every time.”

Another person added: “My stay at Ushuaia Hotel in Ibiza was fantastic! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was electric, and it only got better with the incredible events.”

I’m a MAFS expert – here’s why Emma reminding Caspar of his sister could be a GOOD thing – and make the marriage work

A MARRIED At First Sight expert has opened up on why Emma reminding Caspar of his sister could actually be a good thing – and make their marriage work.

Charlene Douglas is an expert on the hit dating show, alongside Paul C. Brunson and Mel Schilling.

Caspar’s sister reminds him a lot of his new bride[/caption]

And she’s one of the masterminds behind the couples who get married on MAFS, and decided, with Paul and Mel, to put Emma and Caspar together.

But what they didn’t foresee is that New Forest based gardener Caspar would discover that his wife Emma reminds him a great deal of his sister.

This week, as the new series got off to an explosive start, the head gardener, 34, admitted he was not feeling the sexual chemistry with sales manager Emma, 31, after he compared her to his sister.

The newlyweds sit down for a chat following a full 24 hours of being married.

Caspar tells Emma: “I’ve been struggling, I don’t know if you’ve felt it. But I haven’t felt that spark I was hoping to feel.”

Trying to gain some clarity, Emma asks: “What started off those feelings?”

Caspar admits that some of the things Emma did on their wedding day reminded him of his sister.

A confused Emma says: “What did I do?”

He explains: “Watching you and her laugh together, there’s an element and sort of mannerisms – I’m equating one with the other and it’s not good.”

But despite this initial roadblock in their relationship, Charlene told The Sun that it could actually make their marriage stronger.

She explained: “The thing is, everyone’s response to this situation is different isn’t it.

“Because for someone people if you’re dating someone who reminds you of a family member they’d be like, oh, it kind of gives me a nice, warm, fuzzy feeling.

“Almost like you’d feel like they were really connected with your family.

“And particularly seeing how well Emma was obviously really connecting with his family, you know, for some guys that would be the dream.”

Charlene said it would be “like a sign from the universe,” and continued to add: “But you can also understand how it could feel a little bit uncomfortable.

“I think if you know the expectations that you’re going to be intimate with your new partner the fact that you thought they might look like or resemble a family member makes you understand how that could feel a bit a bit creepy.

“But I think for so many other people that your new partner really getting on with your family and connecting with your family could be great, almost like ‘the universe has sent me a wife.’”

The couple faced another challenge in their marriage this week, after Caspar brutally put her down by saying: “I’ve rarely gone for the curvier person,” leaving his bride gobsmacked.

She replies: “Do you think I look sexy tonight?”

A panicked Caspar is left breathing heavily as Emma asks: “But you don’t think I’m sexy?”

Caspar bluntly replies: “No.”

Emma went on: “So you didn’t fancy me and you don’t fancy me, right?”

“Not currently no, lets be honest,” Caspar admits.

Emma hits back and issued him some advice – saying he needs to work on his own outlook before judging women on their appearance.

She responds: “If you didn’t think I was sexy in my f***ing wedding dress and my gorgeous bikini today, I don’t know what hope there is.”

Clearly astonished by his comment, she put him in his place by saying: “But what we’re here to do is look beyond that and what you need to do is look beyond that because my personality, my confidence should help you be more confident and you should see qualities bigger than my clothes size.

“You need to work on your view of women.”

Chilling new vid of doomed Titan sub wreckage strewn across ocean floor shows dome crew peered through before implosion

A CHILLING new video of the doomed Titan sub wreckage strewn across the ocean floor shows the dome the crew may have peered through before the implosion.

It comes as part of a two-week-long hearing into the tragedy that killed five people held in Charlestown, South Carolina, by the US Coast Guard.

More than 3,700m down on the seafloor lays the remains of the Titan submersible.

A new harrowing video of the remains shows “the aft dome, aft ring, remnants of the hull and carbon fibre debris”, the US Coast Guard said.

This could mean the five men on board may have peered out of the dome before tragically dying in the horrific implosion.

OceanGate’s former operations boss David Lochridge revealed earlier this week that the viewport and elements of the dome ceilings deviated from standard design processes.

Lochridge claimed said he was “appalled” by the O-ring – a type of seal.

He said: “There was so many laminations, so many voids. The imperfections were incredible.

“There was glue runs everywhere. And that’s a red flag.”

He described the hull as “porous paper. It was disgusting”.

He added: “Everything was reused.

“They reused these domes. They reused these ceiling faces. They reused the acrylic. They reused the interior. Everything was reused. It’s all cost.”

Lochridge was fired from the company in 2018 and had signed a non-disclosure agreement, preventing him from talking about OceanGate.

The former employee said he was glad he had been subpoenaed for the hearing so he could talk about the issues he had raised.

He also told the panel how the OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush allegedly threw a controller at his head in a heated disagreement after crashing the doomed sub.

The world was captivated when the sub vanished from sonar and failed to resurface from a dive 12,500ft down to the Titanic wreckage in the north Atlantic.

The hearing is exploring what went wrong on the day and the processes operator OceanGate went through when building the Titan.

It was revealed in the hearing that the last words from crew to the support ship Polar Prince said everything was “all good here”.

Audio became more spotty as it descended, with the Polar Prince asking if the Titan could see the Titanic on its display.

The Titan was still able to send one message when the submersible was 3,341m deep – an hour-and-a-half after it began its journey.

How the Titan tragedy unfolded

Five men plunged beneath the surface of the North Atlantic in a homemade sub in the hopes of exploring the Titnaic wreckage last year.

Four passengers paid £195,000 to go on the sub, with the fifth member of the trip being a crew.

But what was supposed to be a short trip spiralled into days of agony as the doomed Titan vanished without a trace on June 18, 2023.

The daring mission had been months in the making – and almost didn’t happen at the hands of harsh weather conditions in Newfoundland, Canada.

In a now chilling Facebook post, passenger Hamish Harding wrote: “Due to the worst winter in Newfoundland in 40 years, this mission is likely to be the first and only manned mission to the Titanic in 2023.

“A weather window has just opened up and we are going to attempt a dive tomorrow.”

It would be his final Facebook post.

The following morning, he and four others – led by Stockton Rush – began the 12,5000ft descent towards the bottom of the Atlantic.

But as it made its way down into the depths, the vessel lost all contact with its mother ship of the surface, the Polar Prince.

It sparked a frantic four day search for signs of life, with the hunt gripping the entire world.

There was hope that by some miracle, the crew was alive and desperately waiting to be saved.

But that sparked fears rescue teams were in a race against time as the sub only had a 96-hour oxygen supply when they set out, which would be quickly dwindling.

Then, when audio of banging sounds were detected under the water, it inspired hope that the victims were trapped and signalling to be rescued.

It heartbreakingly turned out that the banging noises were likely either ocean noises or from other search ships, the US Navy determined.

Countries around the world deployed their resources to aid the search, and within days the Odysseus remote-operated vehicle (ROV) was sent down to where the ghostly wreck of the Titanic sits.

The plan was for the ROV to hook onto the sub and bring it up 10,000ft, where it would meet another ROV before heading to the surface.

But any hopes of a phenomenal rescue were dashed when Odysseus came across a piece of debris from the sub around 1,600ft from the Titanic.

The rescue mission tragically then became a salvage task, and the heartbroken families of those on board were told the devastating news.

It was confirmed by the US Coast Guard that the sub has suffered a “catastrophic implosion”.

The message read: “dropped two wts” and was sent at 10.47am.

Six seconds after the message was sent the Titan was pinged for the final time at a depth of 3,346m.

There was no communications between it and the Polar Prince mother ship the indicated any trouble or emergency on board the sub.

The Polar Prince began to realise the worst had happened when it sent a message to the Titan at 10.49am saying it had “lost tracking”.

They continued to message the doomed sub every two to three minutes, but by 11.15am they told the Polar Prince’s master there had been a loss of communication.

US authorities said a “catastrophic implosion” occurred, killing all on board instantly.

On board were British explorer Hamish Harding, British-Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, OceanGate’s CEO Stockton Rush and French deep-sea explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet.

The coast guard were eventually called at 6.27pm after the Polar Prince had spent three hours searching.

“Presumed human remains” were recovered from the ocean floor in two recovery operations.

The remains were taken ashore and were matched with the profiles of the victims on board the submersible.

The hearing also heard that in 2018 the vessel was struck by lightning which left a “significant blow to the structure”.

That caused it to fail a test by a wide margin.

Rapid decompression also occurred during testing phases of the project years earlier, the hearing heard.

bombshell new lawsuit claims the explorers knew they were going to die after a failed last bid to save themselves.

OceanGate, the company that built the Titan, released a statement offering their “deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who died”.

The spokesperson said: “There are no words to ease the loss endured by the families impacted by this tragic accident.”

The hearing is scheduled to last two weeks.
