Love Island star shows off incredible body transformation in pics before and after reality TV fame

LOVE Island star Gabby Allen has always been open about her journey to body confidence.

But now the 31-year-old who appeared on the ITV2 reality show back in 2017, has taken her followers inside her incredible transformation over the last decade, describing in detail how she has finally found contentment.

The influencer shared some eye popping before and after images, taken ten years apart. In the first photo she is 21, four years before she entered the Love Island villa.

The former dancer told how she spent her early 20s working in a burger bar, which forced her into an unhealthy diet.

She said: “I worked in a burger restaurant for years, literally eating two burgers a day because it was free and left more money for partying.”

Gabby then told how she went travelling, living for a while in Miami, where she ate a “tub of Ben and Jerry’s everyday” before teaching dance in Malaysia.

After eventually finding herself back in the UK, she decided to turn her life around.

She revealed that the “turning point” was her decision to study for her personal trainer qualification.

Learning about fitness and healthy eating made Gabby realise that she needed to unlearn some of the unhealthy habits that had been holding her back for so many years.

She said: “I used to go through a cycle of binge eating and starving. I used to obsessively count and allow myself very low calories, then get so hungry I’d binge on SH***. I used to do fad diets like juice plus and then binge again. I used to go out and drink four bottles of wine, eat a Chinese on the way home, then have a fry up the next day and not move a muscle. I was miserable, I lacked structure, motivation, discipline and drive.”

But now, several years later, Gabby revealed she has got her life back on track.

She said: “Fast forward 7 years I am still a work in progress but I have come a long way. Building strength in my body is the driving force in my life. It makes me feel strong inside and out and I couldn’t do without it.”

Earlier this year Gabby revealed that her experience on Love Island left her feeling so insecure about her body, the opted to go under the knife. But the experience left her with a botched boob job.

She told The Sun’s Fabulous magazine: “”When I was there, I was 25 and fabulous.

“But I still had a meltdown on the show. It was about my boobs. I didn’t directly say that, or maybe I did. But I had no boobs, I just wasn’t naturally well endowed.

“There was a lot of girls on the show that did have lovely big, fake or real boobs.

“And they were all getting loads of dates and I was like, ‘Is it because I haven’t got any boobs or is it just because nobody actually wants me?'”

Gabby, then a 34B, left the show determined to get a boob job.

She says: “But I held off for a few years and that was mainly because I felt like I owed it to the itty bitty committee, to not do it.

“I had so many messages from people saying ‘you give me the confidence’ and ‘I completely feel you’ (with her insecurities) but in the end I felt, I need to do this to make me feel confident.

“Because I knew it would just give me that level up in how I felt about myself.

“And maybe that is because I have deep-rooted self insecurities,” she laughs.

“But it worked. Until it didn’t and my t*ts went wrong and I had to do it all over again.”

Gabby forked out £5,000 for implants from a fancy London clinic, to take her to a 34C.

“Then I ruined them,” she sighed. “I got too excited and went back (to the gym) way too soon.

“My left boob dropped massively and then my right boob dropped as well, but it wasn’t as bad as the left one.

“My left boob was literally facing the ceiling.

“So once again, my confidence was knocked. I was like ‘I’ve paid all this money to get them done, and now I’m back to square one’.

The Liverpool born star is now a DD after travelling to Turkey where she received an excellent standard of care.

She said: “She added: “I had my second boob job done in Turkey, which has a huge stigma around it but my experience was wonderful.

“The same doctor did my mum’s neck lift, and he’s also done a lot of my friends’ surgery.

“Because after my first one, even though it was in London, my aftercare wasn’t there really.

“I was told that I could go to Dubai, literally two weeks afterwards and be in a bikini.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to bits with them now.”

I’m a relationship expert – here are the five red flags that you’re dating a catfish

THOUSANDS of singletons across the globe fall victim to catfish and scammers every year.

And with online dating becoming a more popular way for people to meet, it is riskier than ever to fall for a catfish.

A relationship expert revealed the 7 signs that you're dating a catfish
Experts shares five red flags that means you could be talking to a catfish

When you’re looking for love, it can be heartbreaking to realise that the person you’ve been talking to isn’t who they say they are.

And new data has revealed that 40 per cent of us know someone who has been catfished, while 22 per cent have fallen for catfish themselves.

Luckily, one relationship expert is on hand to help keep singletons safe as they navigate the online dating world.

April Davis, founder and president of LUMA Luxury Matchmaking, has shared five key ways you can catch a catfish.

You can’t find them anywhere else online

In this day and age, almost everyone has a social media presence – especially those who are willing to try dating apps.

So if you can’t find them anywhere online, like a Facebook, Instagram or even LinkedIn account, this could be a major red flag.

April says: “If you’re suspicious, ask to add them on Facebook or Instagram.

“If they refuse or the account they send you looks new, that’s a red flag.”

They make conversations personal very quickly

Catfish are well known for ‘love-bombing,’ which is a form of emotional manipulation.

This happens when someone uses excessive and extravagant expressions of love to try to manipulate another person.

So, if the person you’re talking to immediately goes over the top with compliments, wants to communicate all the time, and makes statements like ‘I love you’ within a few days of speaking, it’s a big red flag.

The experts explain: “Catfishes want you to feel special so that you’ll bond with them, and they want to do it quickly so that they can take what they want from you and move on.

“If they can convince you this is a whirlwind romance, they’ll have a better chance of scamming you because you’ll be more inclined to say yes when they ask you for things.”

They don’t open up

If someone is asking a lot of questions about you but is not willing to offer up much in return, this could be a catfish red flag.

This is because these scammers are, of course, not who they say they are and it can be hard for them to keep their lies straight.

As a result, most catfishes would rather not give out any personal info at all if they can help it.

April added: “Catfishes are looking to scam people with as little effort as possible, so they don’t want to go to the trouble of making up and maintaining a fake identity.

“If you insist on knowing personal details and your new conversation partner goes quiet, you might have just dodged a catfish.”

EXPERT ADVICE

APRIL Davis, founder of LUMA Luxury Matchmaking, shared her top pieces if advice for anyone who thinks they may be talking to a catfish.

“There are several ways to protect yourself from catfishes.

“First of all, never give out money, your bank information, or your credit card details to someone you haven’t met in person. Be wary with your personal information as well.

“Catfishes are usually scammers looking to either convince you to send them money, get access to your cards, or persuade you to give them enough personal details that they can commit identity fraud.

“I wouldn’t give out much beyond superficial information before you’ve met in person.

“Another thing to watch out for is their photos. Do they look Instagram-model perfect? Then the catfisher might have stolen them from an actual Instagram model.

“Screenshot or save their pictures and do a reverse Google image search to see if you can determine where the photo is actually from.

“Of course, one of the most significant catfish indicators is when they won’t video call.

“Some people are shy, yes, but when you’ve been talking for weeks, there’s no reason not to video call.

“If someone gets aggressive or ghosts you after you ask, or if they employ an excuse (‘my camera is broken’ is common, but someone I know was once told ‘I don’t have good enough internet because I work on an oil rig’!) then you should be very wary.”

They ask for money

Asking for money, no matter the reason, is a huge red flag.

Whether they want a bank transfer or your credit card number, catfishes have a wide range of sob stories to tell when it’s time to try to swindle you out of your cash.

April says: “Never give out any money or information to someone you’ve only met online, especially if you haven’t seen their face.”

They won’t show their face

Unsurprisingly, someone who doesn’t want to show who they are in a video call or real-time pictures could be a catfish.

The last thing a catfish wants is for you to see their real face because they usually steal pictures from someone else to use.

This means they are likely to refuse to send photos or do video calls.

April explains that the best way to check that someone is legitimate is to ask them to send a picture of themselves doing a specific pose or activity.

Especially an unusual one that would be hard to find photos of online.

‘Let’s just take our clothes off and do it!’ says Tamzin Outhwaite as she opens up on sex scenes with younger man

TAMZIN Outhwaite has opened up about filming passionate sex scenes in her new show.

The former EastEnders actress, 53, plays the role of Sylvie in new Channel 5 drama The Wives.

The actress addressed filming sex scenes for the show in a chat with The Sun’s TV Mag[/caption]

While speaking to The Sun’s TV Mag, Tamzin discussed working with an intimacy coordinator while shooting the show’s sex scenes.

She shared:  “Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve had to do anything like that. People don’t ask women in their 40s and 50s to do that very often.

“And to be honest, it was quite liberating, because obviously the whole point is that she’s meant to be free.

“I mean, the fact that she’s dating much younger men and having sex with much younger men, and being confident with it was
a really lovely thing to play.

“I’m not prudish, so I was kind of okay with it. Obviously, we had
intimacy coordinators, which I also never experienced.

“That was my first time having one, and so that was quite strange.”

She added: “You know, someone saying: ‘Is it okay Tamzin if he touches you there?’ and I’d be like: Yeah, just get on with it, let’s take our clothes off and do it’ because you want it to be authentic.

“You don’t want it to look robotic and choreographed.

“You want it to look like it’s spur of the moment, heat of the moment, and full of lust.

“That was quite new for me, having an intimacy coordinator, but I love the fact that you see the girls doing that.

“You don’t actually see the women naked, but you see them in a sexual light, which I thought was quite welcome, really.”

Set in Malta, mystery drama The Wives also stars Jo Joyner as Beth and Angela Griffin as Natasha.

All the characters’ lives are forever impacted in an unprecedented summer as family secrets come to light.

A synopsis reads: “Sylvie Morgan was happily married, Natasha Morgan was swimming in wealth, and Beth Morgan and Annabelle Morgan were thick as thieves.

Viewers may recognise Tamzin Outhwaite from several projects over the years

“But this year, as they come together again, everything is different.

“Sylvie’s now single and loving life, Natasha’s hiding a desperate financial situation, Beth is barely keeping her life together and Annabelle is, well… dead.”

The cast also includes Christine Bottomley as Annabel, Jamie Bamber as Charlie and Katie Clarkson-Hill as Jade.

The Wives will begin airing Monday, September 16 at 9pm on Channel 5.
