My hair came out in clumps every time I showered – a £4 tool helped to make it thick and healthy again

A WOMAN whose hair fell out in clumps every time she showered has revealed the exact steps she took to get her locks looking thick and healthy.

Mabel said that she ignored the early signs of her hair loss, and thought that the problem would just go away.

However, she decided to take matters into her own hands after discovering a huge bald patch at the front of her scalp.

“Here’s what the doctor advised me to do for hair loss”, she said.

Wash Frequently

Mabel advised washing your hair every day with a good quality shampoo.

She said that if you don’t your hair will be clogged up with so much dirt that your hair will not be able to grow properly.

Scalp Massaging

Mabel revealed that to get your locks looking long and luscious, you should massage your scalp every day.

“You can do it with a shampoo, brush or simply just using your fingers like this”, she said, demonstrating massaging her scalp.

Scalp massaging increases blood flow to the scalp, which can make hair grow faster and healthier, and increase hair thickness.

You can pick up a scalp massaging tool for £4 from Boots.

Hair Oiling

Mabel said that she oils her scalp twice a week, to ensure that her hair is thick and healthy.

She massages an oil such as rosemary oil on to her scalp, leaves it for two hours, and then rinses it off.

Rosemary oil has been proven to stimulate hair growth.

You can pick up a bottle from Boots for £6.

“If you want to see good results, don’t be lazy”, Mabel said.

Hair loss tips

We can lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day, according to the NHS.

It is not usually something to worry about, but occasional it can be a sign of a medical concern.

These include illness, stress, cancer treatment, weight loss and iron deficiency.

The NHS advises to book an appointment with your GP to see if you can get to the cause of it.

Experts at American Academy of Dermatology Association also recommend to eat healthy, limit curling irons and only use them for special occasions.

They also recommend using a gentle shampoo, and make use of leave-in conditioners.

“Small changes like this can actually make a big difference.”

Mabel’s video, posted to the username @xmabelyss has likely left many people impressed, as it has racked up over 1.1 million views on the video sharing platform.

TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts on her tips.

One person said: “Your hair looks so healthy”.

A second person said: “I use rosemary oil, a massager, nettle shampoo with vitamin K and an avocado mask and my hair falls out less and I have baby hairs”.

A third person said: “Your advice is very good!”

‘It’s like she deliberately chose a more elaborate dress’ people cry as bride’s mum pictured wearing white at wedding

A BRIDE’S mother has been slammed over her “crazy” dress choice for her daughter’s wedding.

Everyone has different rules for their wedding, and whilst some may opt for a strict dress code such as black tie or banning certain colours, other choose to give their guests more freedom over what they wear.

However, there is one rule that almost every bride chooses to agree on.

Nobody else should be allowed to wear white.

Taking to Reddit, one user fumed about a mother that had chosen to ignore this unspoken rule.

The Reddit user attached an image of a stunning bride, wearing a lacy white gown and a long veil.

Her hair was pinned back in a slicked-back bun, and fixed in place with an elegant sparkly clasp.

Standing next to the bride, was a woman in a very similar dress with the same off the shoulder neckline, and even a similar hairstyle.

“The woman of the left is the bride’s mother”, the Reddit poster raged.

“This is clearly a wedding dress.”

Reddit users flooded the comments section to share their thoughts, and many were similarly enraged.

One person said: “It’s like she deliberately chose a more sparkly elaborate dress than the bride too.

“I feel sad for people with parents like this. Imagine trying to steal your own daughter’s special for yourself. Just gross.”

A second person said: “I totally thought this was a picture of two brides.”

A third person suggesting that the mother was jealous of her daughter, said: “Jealous much, mum?”

Wedding Guest Outfit Etiquette

If you're struggling to decided on a dress to see you through wedding season, here's a few rules on what not to wear so you don't get in trouble.

  • Folklore says that wearing red at a wedding means you slept with the groom.
  • Casual attire like jeans and flip flops should always be avoided.
  • Any colour that could be picked up as white or cream – even if it’s not.
  • Most would agree that your cleavage needs to be covered.
  • Wearing white is a massive no-no if you’re not the bride.

A fourth person said: “Someone get the wine! Quick!”

However, others pointed out that the bride may have approved of the mother’s dress.

One person said: “Chances are the daughter already approved of the dress.”

Another person said: “Unless this bride said she didn’t want her mum to look like that, then I don’t really see any reason to be shaming this.”

Moment ‘bomb-proof’ Putin ammo dump EXPLODES in huge mushroom cloud after massive Ukrainian kamikaze drone strike

A RUSSIAN ammunition depot exploded in a huge mushroom fireball after a massive Ukrainian kamikaze strike.

Dramatic footage showed the scale of the blasts in one the biggest strikes of the conflict – with thick black smoke pouring into the sky in Toropets and nearby villages.

Repeated fireball explosions followed the initial strikes as Putin lost tens of millions of pounds worth of missiles and ammunition.

Schools and kindergartens in the area were ordered to close in the area due to ongoing explosions and toxic smoke.

The modern storage depots – part of Russian military unit No. 71628 – were hit by multiple kamikaze drones in a concerted attack on the site in Tver region.

When the “Comprehensive Storage Arsenal” was constructed in 2018, Putin’s deputy defence minister General Dmitry Bulgakov vowed that “it protects missiles and munitions from outside impact and ensures proper upkeep”.

He said: “It is explosion and fire proof.”

Bulgakov has since been arrested in a Putin purge of top defence ministry officials amid wide-ranging corruption allegations.

Regional governor Igor Rudenya had said “air defence forces continue to repel a massive drone attack in the sky above [Toropets].”

Primark are selling a dupe of the cult-favourite buckle shoe from Ganni but they’re over £309 cheaper than the real deal

THE budget retailer has done it once again when it comes to making designer dupes at a fraction of the price.

This time, Primark has launched a dupe of the cult-favourite Ganni buckle-shoe.

They look strikingly similar to Ganni’s version but cost over £310 less[/caption]

Timeless and easy to style, the sling-back style shoe is perfect for any occasion and adds a slight touch of grunge to any outfit as most Ganni pieces do.

The danish brand has made the shoe a ‘Ganni Icon’ meaning it’s a style synonymous with the brand.

But at £325 a pop not everyone can afford them.

Fortunately Primark is to the rescue with their own version called the Buckle Slingback Ballerina Flats and it costs a minuscule amount compared to the real deal at £16.

They come in a sleek faux-leather patent material and feature a pointed toe.

Detailing consists of one buckle with eyelet detailing on the strap.

While the Ganni shoe has two buckles – the pair still look strikingly similar.

The budget-friendly shoes come in sizes 3 – 8 and come in two colour patent leather or patent white.

They make the perfect transitional shoe as we go into autumn but will also see you through the spring and summer months too.

Primark bosses say: “These pointed slingback ballerina flats with buckle and eyelet details on the strap are about to be iconic,” and we couldn’t agree more.

They add: “Effortlessly versatile, pair them with tailored trousers for a polished office look or with a sultry dress for evening elegance.

“Whether you’re stepping into a boardroom or onto the dance floor, these flats elevate your style with every step. D

“Destined to be iconic, there’s no second guessing about adding them to your collection.”

Fashion fans on TikTok were in awe of the shoes and were desperate to get their hands on them.

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
  • And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

For more information about how Primark keeps their costs so low, and are able to deliver such amazing bargains, visit the Primark website.

One person wrote: “Not a want, a need.”

Another commented: “OBSESSED.”
