Olly’s grandfather last saw his mother when he was just 12 as Nazi Germany took over and she was sent to a labour camp[/caption]

During the episode viewers watched as Olly attempted to trace his great grandparents.

He learned that they hailed from Latvia and were circus performers.

However, Olly’s discovery took a dark turn when he travelled to the Salamonska Circus building in Riga to trace his great grandmother Veronika Jankovska.

During his visit he was told how his great grandfather had cheated on his current partner with Veronika.

After they had a child, Veronika – who was 22 at the time – struggled to raise her son Eduards Jr and handed him over to her parents so she could work at the circus.

But when Nazi Germany took over the country, Eduards Jr was forced to flee as as refugee to Germany with his father and his partner.

In tragic scenes Olly discovered that Veronika was imprisoned in a labour camp for eight years.

Despite searching for her son after her release, she was heartbreakingly never reunited with him.

Veronika died in 1988 with no family by her side and was buried in an unmarked grave.

Upsetting scenes showed dad-of-one Murs visit her plot, paying respects to Veronika.

Reflecting on the upsetting story, Olly said: “WWII had a real impact on my family. I think Veronica made a very bold decision that day, leaving her son and knowing that she might never see him again.”

He added: “I wish my grandad could have understood his mum’s decisions.”

Who Do You Think You Are viewers at home were left distraught by the scenes, with some left in tears.

Taking to social media, one said: “Just cried at #WhoDoYouThinkYouAre. That episode was brilliant but so so sad. That poor mother and son @ollymurs.”

A second wrote: “Such an emotional episode of Who Do You Think You Are this evening with Olly Murs. The story of his great grandmother’s hardships and search for her son were so sad. So glad Olly and his family have her story now.”

“Olly im CRYING. I know your grandad will be with his mam up in heaven right now. They may have not found each other here, but I know they’re together up there now, looking down on you all, especially you and Amelia and little Madi, and they’re so proud,” said a third.

While a fourth commented: “One glass of red wine (large) and I’m crying about olly murs on who do you think you are.”

Bridget Curtis has been charged over her death[/caption]

The eight-month-old was airlifted to Bristol Children’s Hospital but tragically couldn’t be saved and died four days later.

Bridget Curtis, 70, appeared at Swansea Crown Court today.

She pleaded guilty to a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

The horror unfolded at around 11.50am on June 21 after a BMW crashed into Mabli and another pedestrian.

The baby, who was in her pram at the time of the horror, tragically passed away on June 25.

A cause of death was previously given as severe traumatic brain injuries.

Curtis was treated in hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries along with a passenger in the car.

A second pedestrian struck by the BMW was also taken to hospital but later discharged.

Following her death, Mabli’s parents, Rob and Gwen Hall released a heartbreaking tribute.

They said: “We are absolutely heartbroken by the death of our beautiful baby girl, Mabli.

“She was adored by us and her five siblings, and brought us so much joy in her short life.

“We will always remember Mabli’s beautiful little smile and cherish the time we had with her.

“We would like to thank everyone who tried to help us at such a tragic time; the people who were there when it happened, the emergency services who came to our aid and the amazing staff at Withybush, the Heath in Cardiff and Bristol Children’s Hospital.

“Their strength and support allowed us to focus on Mabli.”

“Grace has always loved EGO and the creative ideas really align with her style and personality.

“No other islander has done anything like this for a first brand deal and we know it’s going to be a huge moment for Grace.”

A spokesperson for EGO added: “We’re thrilled to have Grace on board, we knew from the beginning she was the girl for us.

“She’s bold, not afraid to push boundaries and her sense of style is exceptionally EGO.

“It’s a very exciting time for the brand, we’ve seen unprecedented growth over the past year.

“Grace has tons to give, as do we. We’re ready to get started!”

Grace, who is represented by M Models Management, was previously tipped to be the next Molly-Mae after landing a series of meetings, including one with Pretty Little Thing.

We previously exclusively told how Grace was set to become the first millionaire of the series as the “new Molly-Mae” was inundated with offers.

The model has been inundated with offers of work and has already had a big meeting with online retail giant PrettyLittleThing.

Previously, a source told us: “Grace has turned down work in the past if it hasn’t felt right though so she’s really picking carefully, making sure she gets the deals that really fit in and align with her.

“She’s on course to be a millionaire already and a lot of brands are calling her the next Molly-Mae.”

The exciting news comes just days after Grace called it quits with Reuben Collins.

The couple struggled to make it work thanks to their different locations and busy schedules.

A source said: “Grace and Reuben have come to the mutual decision a romantic relationship isn’t right for either of them at this time.

“Grace wishes Reuben all the best and vice versa. They will remain friends and have no bad feelings towards each other.”

Shoppers have been rushing to bag Asda’s relaxed chair scanning for 50% less[/caption]

The bargain was shared on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargain UK, after being found at.

The poster said: “Absolute bargain today at ASDA.”

The chair has a yellow-stripe print design with a plush cushion and a white frame.

It fold for easy storage and measures 59cm by 90cm by 102cm.

The bargain hunter managed to bag such a good deal because the item was an ex-display model.

Shops often sell their ex-display models at mega discounts, so it’s always worth keeping an eye out for these deals.

Do bear in mind too that when prices are reduced by this much it’s usually in order for stores to clear excess stock, so availability will vary from store to store.

It’s always best to phone ahead to your local shop to check what they have available to avoid disappointment.

You can find your nearest Asda store using the locator tool on the website.

It always pays to compare prices so you know you’re getting the best deal.

The chair is significantly cheaper than other models on sale at Asda.

For example, the supermarket is currently selling two padded relaxer chairs with a similar yellow stripe print for £58.80, reduced from £84.

Prices can also vary day to day and by what deals are on at the time, plus remember you might pay for delivery if you’re ordering online.

You can compare prices on platforms like Google Shopping.

If you decide to look elsewhere for some outdoor furniture, you can pick up the Argos Home Check Folding Recliner Garden Chair in Grey for £55.

Or the Sun Lounger Recliner Relaxer Reclining Chair Seat Outdoor Garden Patio Cushion from Amazon for £44.99.

How to bag a bargain

SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
