Complaints have been filed from his former dance partners including Amanda Abbington – yet he strongly denies the claims[/caption]

His exit came as he is currently under investigation by the BBC over misconduct after complaints were filed by several of his former celebrity dance partners – claims he strongly denies.

Previously, we reported claims the investigation was coming in at a fee of more than £250,000.

Yet with the outcome still pending, Giovanni has his sights set on the future.

He has revealed his latest stage show – this being Giovanni The Last Dance – kicking off in January in Hayes.

It runs until May, calling a ares including Stoke, Halifax, Blackpool and Salford.

Giovanni posted a screen grab of the full listings on his Instagram page with the caption: “You know where to find me!! Book now.”

One fan then confessed: “Booked a few…”

Another put: “Can’t wait to see you again, take care gorgeous.”

A third then wrote: “Already booked! Best show on stage, can’t wait.”

A source previously opened up on the results of the probe.

They said: “The BBC are hopeful they will finally be able to share the findings of the probe but considering there have been so many delays, nothing is set in stone.

It is accepted the dossier won’t be released in full but instead a simple statement may be put out covering the conclusion.

“Either way there are many interested parties and it could pave the way for more celebrities or crew members to speak up.

Giovanni Pernice Strictly scandal timeline

October 2023: Amanda abruptly withdraws from Strictly having already missed one live show. Her departure is announced in a vague BBC statement that ‘wishes her the best’.

Giovanni posts a short message on social media addressing the exit, which read: “Amanda… I am so sad we can’t continue but I am proud of what we achieved and I am sending you so much love.”

Amanda then shares her own farewell statement on Instagram thanking co-stars but failing to mention Gio.

Giovanni’s dad Piero insists there were no signs of a fall out and the pairing could have gone all the way. He praised his son as kind and polite.

November 2023: Giovanni is reportedly gutted by the situation and is considering his Strictly future as questions are raised about his conduct.

January 2024: Amanda’s PTSD diagnosis comes to light and she demands CCTV from rehearsals to prove that Giovanni’s training methods weren’t acceptable.

The BBC issues a statement defending its duty of care to contestants, insisting it takes any claims of wrongdoing very seriously.

The Corporation stands by its man after emergency meeting

March 2024: Giovanni publicly states he has no intention of leaving Strictly in a TV interview with close pal Anton du Beke.

Ranvir Singh and Laura Whitmore enter the picture. Allegedly the two celebs, who were both previously partnered with Giovanni on Strictly, didn’t feel the BBC took their issues with his methods seriously enough.

The pair have a closed meeting with Amanda where tears are said to be shed.

May 2024: We reveal Giovanni is leaving the programme after having talks with show bosses

He leaves the country with girlfriend Molly Brown on holiday

The BBC launches an internal investigation after three complainants instruct lawyers. A source describes it as a “nightmare situation”.

“It’s down to the wire, but the BBC hope the sparkle of the new series launch could sweep away the scandal.”

The row threatens to overshadow the 20th anniversary series of the hit BBC1 dance competition, which begins today.

The same investigation also saw Giovanni’s co-star Graziano Di Prima, 30, sacked over allegations of physical behaviour towards show partner Zara McDermott, 27.

Putin urged to explode nuclear bomb in chilling warning to the West if Ukraine uses British missiles to strike Russia

VLADIMIR Putin is being pushed to green light a nuclear bomb test as a warning to the West.

Russia is ramping up its threats as Prime Minister Keir Starmer and President Joe Biden look to bolster Ukrainian missile permissions so they might strike deep targets inside Putin’s country.

Early in the invasion of Ukraine, Vladimir Putin was looking at options that included exploding a 'tactical nuclear weapon' over the Black Sea, as a show of force

Now a leading Kremlin MP with links to the Russian army has urged the delusional tyrant to carry out an atomic explosion at a test site.

“We need to carry out a nuclear explosion somewhere, at some testing ground,” demanded Andrei Kolesnik, who leads the ruling United Russia party.

He said: “Nuclear tests are currently prohibited in our country.

“But maybe people should see what all this actually leads to, they should hear.

“If we lift the moratorium, maybe humanity will think twice.”

Such a test could be seen as a renewed warning against Nato over the possibility that the US and UK could allow Ukraine to use their long-range missiles inside Russia.

Putin warned this week that the shift in policy would mean war.

He said: “This would in a significant way change the very nature of the conflict… It would mean that Nato countries are at war with Russia.”

Britain and America have previously held back on loosening permissions because of a fear of Russian retaliation.

There are concerns that Putin’s so far empty threats over nuclear revenge could be realised if Western weapons struck targets on his soil.

Kremlin hardliners could also push for attacks against missile strongholds in Nato countries – such as an airbase in Poland.

This would invoke Nato’s Article 5 mutual defence clause – triggering a wider war with Russia.

Putin last year sent then defence minister Sergei Shoigu, now his top security aide, to Novaya Zemlya, a remote Arctic archipelago where Soviet nuclear tests were conducted in the Cold War.

This was meant to indicate that the Kremlin is ready “if necessary” to conduct new nuclear tests for the first time since 1990.

Putin’s former space agency chief Dmitry Rogozin has also demanded tests are carried out at Novaya Zemlya.

The Tsar Bomba – the most powerful nuclear bomb ever detonated – was tested there in October 1961.

The explosion was so large that it caused shock waves which circled the Earth multiple times, and its mushroom cloud rocketed more than 37 miles into the sky.

“We must make sure that [the West’s] buttocks begin to shake with fear,” he said.

Meanwhile Putin’s chief lapdog Dmitry Medvedev yesterday threatened to “sink” the UK with hypersonic missiles.

This came as Starmer left the White House following talks with Biden without a public US commitment to allow Ukraine to fire Storm Shadow or other long range missiles over enemy lines.

Their White House summit came as Russia kicked out six British diplomats over claims of “spying”.

The Foreign Office slammed the accusations as “completely baseless”.

Russia sees Britain as leading the Western charge demanding the use of long-range weapons, with other countries far more reluctant.

Inside Casemiro’s Man Utd redemption bid as star first to arrive for training before Liverpool debrief with Erik ten Hag

CASEMIRO has one of the most impressive CVs in world football — but it will count for nothing as he tries to prove himself all over again at Manchester United.

Maybe he knows it too. That could be why the veteran Brazilian was the first player to report for training at Carrington in recent days.

Erik ten Hag has backed him to respond[/caption]

The five-time Champions League winner had a nightmare in his last appearance for the Red Devils two weeks ago.

He was blamed for Liverpool’s first two goals and then hooked at half-time as United lost 3-0 on a disastrous showing against their bitter rivals at Old Trafford.

Now he has even more competition with new £50.8million signing Manuel Ugarte — as well as rookie Toby Collyer — pushing for his place in Erik ten Hag’s team.

So he may have to get his head down and be patient.

During the international break the 32-year-old was linked with a move to Galatasaray but a firm offer never materialised, now he and United are stuck with each other.

Ten Hag has spoken with Casemiro about his horror show against Arne Slot’s men and says he will pick the team from what he sees in training from now on.

The United boss said: “I normally do talk to them and in this case I did as well. But players in our club know when you are playing at this level there is always competition.

“They also know you can only be successful if you have a squad with cover.

“You can’t have a squad where you only have one player who can cover — you need at least two for each position.

“Sometimes it is three for two. That is OK when you have very robust players. All the players will understand — then it’s about what is the best fit for the team.

“They have to prove it, the key word. They will have games but they have to take responsibility and win games for the club.

“If they show their levels on the training pitch, show levels and they’ll have playing time and then it’s about contributing to the team.

“I am looking far ahead. A player who benefits most will play more minutes. That is also normal.”

While Ten Hag and the new football leadership team have high hopes for Ugarte — after the Uruguayan’s arrival from Paris Saint-Germain — they still need Casemiro to get back on track.

With Europa League commitments starting this month, it will be a hectic period for the Red Devils.

And the Dutch boss does not want the experienced star to be judged too harshly on his shocker against Liverpool.

He added: “We definitely need him for sure, of course I speak with him about the situation, everyone can have a bad day at the office.

“But it’s normal in life you have highs and lows and it’s the same in the life of a football player.

“For a football player there are many observing this and have an opinion on this and you have to deal with this.

“He knows how to deal with it. Nobody’s career goes only up, no team pattern only goes up. Then you have to deal with it — then it is about what is the end result.

“But he is experienced. It’s not the first time I guess he’s had to deal with a bad game, he has to overcome it this well.”

Ugarte, 23, only arrived back from international duty on Thursday lunchtime but is in contention to play at Southampton.

Ten Hag revealed he has followed the South American since he featured for Sporting Lisbon against his Ajax team in the Champions League group stage three years ago.

The Amsterdam outfit ran out comfortable winners in both matches but the way the midfielder performed stuck in his memory.

Manuel Ugarte the next Roy Keane

By PHIL THOMAS

NEARLY two decades have passed since Roy Keane led Manchester United into battle for the final time.

It left a gap in the engine room that the Red Devils have never really come close to filling in the 19 years that have followed.

Many tried and some managed it in flashes and, although the trophies still rolled in for a time, there was no snarling, bring-it-on warrior prowling the midfield.

Until now… until the imminent capture of a man who views a 50-50 challenge like a starving Labrador staring at a side of ham.

For three months, United have licked their own lips at the prospect of a midfield marshalled by Uruguayan tough guy Manuel Ugarte.

Finally, they have their man.

Ugarte is pretty much a ball-winner pure and simple.

Rarely will you see him pinging 40-yard passes to split a defence.

But ending his days with half the reputation of Keane and a fraction of his silverware would still mean a hell of a career.

Ten Hag added: “He’s been on my radar a long time, he played for Sporting Lisbon vs Ajax.

“It was not only that match, also the seasons after when he played there and for Uruguay and PSG.

“I had him in my mind and my eye, the scouting department had him in their mind and we followed him and we judged he will be a really good fit for our team.

“He’s coming in as a late transfer but he’s playing a very important position, connecting the defending with attacking and attacking with defending.

“Communication is very important to guide the team and lead the team, make the connections between defence and attack.

“We have to help and guide him about how to play that role but what we have seen, he knows a lot already and has the profile where we think he can fit in that role.

“We have to teach him details about how it works in our team.”

Ten Hag is also backing summer arrival Matthijs de Ligt to bounce back from his Dutch disaster.

De Ligt, signed in a £42.7m deal from Bayern Munich, had a nightmare international break.

The 25-year-old was at fault for a goal in Holland’s 5-2 win over Bosnia then got blamed for both in a 2-2 draw with Germany days later.

Ten Hag said: “I know Matthijs and he is a great personality, his character. He will overcome this and will bounce back.

“I’m not afraid for this situation — it’s about the Dutch squad — not his club. I know his qualities, I know he’ll fight back.”
