Bond Set for Narcotics Possession Suspect:
Charley Lee Brown, Jr., 29, of Vicksburg appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, September 20, 2024. Officers responding to a call for service arrested him at a local hotel Thursday, September 19, 2024. Brown was in possession of various illegal substances including marijuana, cocaine, and methamphetamine, as well as a stolen firearm.
Charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Methamphetamine, four counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Stolen Firearm. Judge Angela Carpenter bound Brown over to the Warren County Grand Jury on a $350,000 bond.
Man Arrested For Felony Domestic Violence:
On Friday, September 20, 2024, officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Mission 66. The driver, Stuart Thomas, 24, of Vicksburg had a warrant for his arrest for Aggravated Assault, Domestic Violence stemming from an incident that occurred in August 2024.
Stuart appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, September 20, 2024. His bond was set at $50,000 and he was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
