As the Central Garage expansion nears completion, the construction crane located on Pierce Avenue will be dismantled starting at 5 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, and concluding on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 11 p.m.
- Staff can exit the Central Garage Pierce Avenue exit from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday by turning right only.
- One southbound lane of traffic on the west side of 21st Avenue S. from the Vanderbilt pedestrian bridge to Pierce Ave during will be closed during the shutdown.
- More than 10 officers will be on-site to direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic, including at the 21st Avenue lane closure, Children’s Way and Pierce Avenue.
