SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A juvenile was arrested Thursday night following a shooting at an apartment complex in Spartanburg.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office responded to Waters Edge Apartments off Reidville Road around 10 p.m. in reference to an individual being shot.
Deputies identified the victim as a juvenile.
Their condition remains unknown at this time.
At the scene, deputies learned that the suspect was also a juvenile. Deputies have not revealed the ages of either juvenile.
Law enforcement located the individual and reported that the suspect confessed to the shooting. The juvenile was charged and transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.
The shooting remains under investigation by the SCSO.
