Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in battle for star

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are in a bidding war for the same star.

Kaizer Chiefs’ van was spotted at the training premises of Bafana Bafana attacker, Oswin Appollis.

Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates have amplified their attempts to hijack Amakhosi’s deal.

CHIEFS AND PIRATES IN A RACE FOR BAFANA STARS SIGNATURE

Appollis is hot property right now.

The Polokwane City and Bafana winger has both sets of Soweto giants bidding for him. Moreover, Chiefs and Pirates have a few hours left to outbid one another in the race for his signature.

So, who is likely to sign Appollis?

As mentioned, Amakhosi’s official has been spotted at Polokwane City. Meaning, a Chiefs representative has driven from Soweto to Polokwane. Quite the drive, if you ask me. Additionally, Chiefs have been linked with Appollis for several weeks.

Therefore, the safe bet is on Amakhosi securing his signature. Ultimately, they would not drive that far if they weren’t determined to sign him.

However, Pirates have also amplified their efforts to sign the Bafana Bafana man. Ultimately, this could have prompted Amakhosi to drive to Polokwane to secure his services.

SOWETO GIANTS TO DOMINATE PSL TRANSFER DAY HEADLINES

Chiefs and Pirates will dominate the PSL transfer deadline day headlines.

Furthermore, with just a few hours left before the transfer window closes, both sides have several big moves on the cards.

Chiefs are linked with TWO Bafana Bafana stars. Meanwhile, as many as EIGHT Amakhosi stars are linked with exits. Whilst, a couple of Pirates stars are linked with exits that will be confirmed and decided today.

Stay tuned to The South African as we reveal the latest signings and exits – permanent deals and loans made by Chiefs, Pirates, Sundowns and the rest of the PSL.
