Full list: 11 players that could still leave Kaizer Chiefs today

Kaizer Chiefs are looking for both incoming and outgoings in today’s transfer deadline day rush.

So far, Chiefs have signed seven new players, with five players being shown the door ahead of the new season.

Chiefs looking to offload players

At the start of the window, Chiefs wasted no time in telling certain players that they are surplus to requirements. Those included Keagan Dolly, Sifiso Hlanti, Siyethemba Sithebe, Njabulo Ngcobo and Jasond Gonzalez. Veteran goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune may soon be added to that list formerly. There is still yet to be official word from the club on the future of the former Bafana Bafana international.

His playing contract at Chiefs ran out in July and the club have stuck to their stance. They reiterated last season that Khune would be kept on as a player for one last season. The message did not seem to get through to him however, as he repeatedly stated his desire to play on. After that, it was clear he was not in the playing plans of the current regime.

He may not be the only, however, as Chiefs still have, somewhat, a bloated squad ahead of deadline. A lot of the fringe players from last season ares still at the club, while some prominent stars seem to be in the wilderness. With that being said, this website has drafted a list of up to 11 players who could still leave today!
