Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute volleyball defeated Central Carolina Community College 3-0 at home on Thursday evening. The Cobras won in straight sets; 25-10, 25-10, and 25-12.
Central Carolina led briefly, early in the first two sets before Caldwell pulled away. The Cobras led wire-to-wire in the third set to seal the victory.
Caldwell improves to 9-2 overall, 2-0 in Region 10 Division 3. Central Carolina falls to 2-8 overall, 1-2 in Region 10 Division 3.
Caldwell will travel to Martinsville, VA on Saturday as Patrick & Henry Community College will host a tri-match. The Cobras will face Patrick & Henry at 11AM before taking on Pellissippi (TN) State at 1PM. Caldwell returns home on Monday night to face Davidson-Davie Community College at 6PM.
