The Sunset Isle Yacht Club, located on the picturesque south side of Choctawhatchee Bay, has officially opened its luxury marina, making waves as the only full-service Marina in Northwest Florida capable of accommodating yachts up to 300 feet in length. This new facility, spanning nine acres, offers boaters and members top-tier amenities designed to cater to vessels of all sizes.

The Marina’s owner – Harvey, Louisiana’s Bobby Guidry, recently donated almost $40,000 to candidates for County Commission and Sheriff. Three of the four candidates he supported emerged from the August 20 Primary Race victorious.

The Marina features 144 slips, ranging from 40 to 120 feet in length and up to 26 feet wide, situated on a 12-foot wide, 1,400-foot-long pier. According to a press release from the company, Sunset Isle stands out with a variety of state-of-the-art amenities, including high-speed fueling stations, shore power from 30 to 200 amps, and an in-slip pump-out system. The facility also boasts Neptune vessel lifts that can support boats from 30,000 to 120,000 pounds. Boaters can also enjoy oversized finger-pier walkways, providing access to the entire vessel from bow to stern.

For added security, the Marina offers 24-hour video surveillance, allowing owners to monitor their boats remotely from their phones or computers. Sunset Isle’s prime location places it three miles from popular spots like Crab Island and HarborWalk Village, and just three and a half miles from the Gulf of Mexico via the East Pass.

“This marina was designed to provide the newest bells and whistles to support anyone’s vessel, from 25 feet to 300 feet in size,” Guidry said.

Leading the operations at Sunset Isle is general manager Bryan Rydzewski, a seasoned professional with more than 35 years of industry experience. “Sunset Isle is in a premier location and offers top-tier services that you won’t find anywhere else,” Rydzewski stated.

While additional amenities like a private beach, ship store, and restrooms are already available, future plans for the club include a resort-style pool, recreational facilities, and a full-service bar and restaurant.

Sunset Isle Resort and Yacht Club is currently accepting new applications for its 144 marina slips. For more information or to reserve a spot, visit www.sunsetisle.com or call (850) 500-2628.
