Hickory City Council met in regular session Tuesday night (September 17). Minutes, second readings and the consent agenda were all approved.
Second readings included the approval of the implementation of a speed limit reduction to 25 mph along 11th Avenue NE from 5th Street NE to 3rd Street Drive NE, and along 4th Street NE from 11th Avenue NE to 10th Avenue Drive NE.
In other activity at Tuesday’s Hickory City Council meeting. The Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) was presented and unanimously approved. In addition, City Manager Warren Wood presented an update on various City of Hickory projects.
