C.V.C.C.’s CyberSecurity Program Earns Recognition

Catawba Valley Community College (C.V.C.C.) and the college’s Information Technology: CyberSecurity program have been designated as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense by the National Centers for Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity. The designation is good for five years and will allow C.V.C.C. to receive the benefits of the Centers for Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity community.

The designation is presented to regionally accredited academic institutions that offer cybersecurity-related degrees or certificates. It represents the highest standard of university cybersecurity programs, requiring colleges to complete an intensive application process.
