Man says he’ll kill Campbell police if they don’t give him drugs

Sept. 9

VANDALISM, THREATEN CRIME WITH INTENT TO TERRORIZE: 300 block of Llewellyn Avenue. A man was at a residence in violation of multiple served domestic violence restraining orders. He became agitated, and a verbal argument ensued between him and the two victims when they would not procure cigarettes or alcohol for him. He threatened to kill the victims, who left the residence and contacted police. The man remained inside the residence and refused to leave. On Sept. 10 a Ramey warrant was issued, and the man was arrested outside the residence. It was determined that he had caused more than $400 in damages to property inside the residence.

BURGLARY: 200 block of Herry Lane. Multiple suspects entered a room using a master key and stole approximately $3,000 worth of electronics.

POSSESSION OF NUNCHUCKS: Creekside and Campisi ways. A man was observed walking northbound on Creekside, carrying nunchucks.

BATTERY: 900 block of East Hamilton Avenue. A female was slapped in the face by a male, who she thought was following her.

BURGLARY: 600 block of Buddlawn Way. Someone broke into a Ford work van overnight and stole several tools.

GRAND THEFT: 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue. Someone entered a parking lot and stole items worth approximately $1,500 from outside the front entrance.

Sept. 10

VEHICLE THEFT: 100 block of East Rincon Avenue. A white 1999 Ford was stolen.

PETTY THEFT: 00 block of South San Tomas Aquino Road. A man entered a store and stole approximately $25 worth of clothing. The night before, he had climbed over the fence into the yard without lawful business.

Sept. 12

ROBBERY: 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue. The suspect stole items, assaulted the victim and brandished a screwdriver. The suspect was apprehended and found to be in possession of burglary tools, drug paraphernalia and narcotics, and to be under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect had multiple active felony and misdemeanor warrants and was out  on bail.

Sept. 13

POSSESSION OF A WEAPON AT SCHOOL: 1500 block of More Avenue. A 14-year-old student brought two knives and a vape pen onto campus. He was cited and released to his parents.

GRAND THEFT: 1600 block of South Bascom Avenue. A dark green Specialized Stump jumper bicycle was stolen from the bed of a truck.

Sept. 14

BURGLARY: 200 block of Del Prado Drive. Someone broke into a residence while the victim was out of town and stolen an undisclosed amount of jewelry from the victim’s bedroom.

PETTY THEFT: 2300 block of Winchester Boulevard. A man stole a bottle of alcohol and was stopped by loss prevention while leaving the store.

EVADING PEACE OFFICER, DUI: Salmar and East Hamilton avenues. The suspect was observed driving on the wrong side of a divided road. A vehicle enforcement stop was initiated, and the driver failed to yield for approximately 1.1 miles while abiding by the rules of the road. He came to a stop at his residence and displayed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication.

CARRYING A LOADED, CONCEALED WEAPON, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA FOR SALE, UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF TEARGAS: East Campbell and South Bascom avenues. A woman and a man were stopped in an Acura for a vehicle code violation. A search of the vehicle revealed a loose .45-caliber bullet, a pepper spray canister, cash, a digital scale and marijuana packaged for sales. A loaded Glock 21 handgun was located underneath the front passenger seat. The woman admitted to possessing marijuana for sales, and the man admitted to possessing the pepper spray. Both denied knowledge and ownership of the firearm and/or ammunition.

Sept. 15

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 2300 block of Winchester Boulevard. A man was stopped for having an open alcoholic beverage in public. He was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself.

EXTORTION : 200 block of Union Avenue. The suspect and victim chatted via an online dating app. The suspect threatened to send explicit photos of the victim to their social media contacts if the victim did not send $200 in gift cards.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 300 block of Orchard City Drive. A man  was reported to be drunk in public, stumbling as he walked. He displayed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication and was unable to care for himself.

BATTERY: 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue. A man was arrested after punching the victim in an unprovoked attack.

VEHICLE THEFT: 1000 block of Florence Way. Someone broke into a white utility van, disabled an owner-installed GPS device and stole it.

THREATEN CRIME WITH INTENT TO TERRORIZE, ANNOYING CALLS TO 911: 600 block of Virginia Avenue. A man called 911 multiple times and said he wanted officers to deliver drugs to him or he would kill everyone at the Campbell Police Department. He went to his neighbor’s home and threatened to blow up her house and kill her. He was placed under arrest.
