New addiction treatment center opens in Pueblo

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A new addiction treatment facility is now open in Pueblo, thanks to an allocation from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

Pueblo Mayor Heather Graham posted about the facility’s grand opening on her Facebook page on Friday, Sept. 13, during a ceremony with Crossroads Turning Points to celebrate the new home of the Circle Program. Mayor Graham said $750,000 was allocated from ARPA funds to complete this addiction treatment and behavioral health center, which Mayor Graham called “much needed.”

“The program offers a a higher level of care than typical in-patient recovery services and is based on a medical model, which requires nurses, counselors and doctors for treatment of patients at the facility,” said Mayor Graham.
