An investigation is underway into a report of shots being fired at police officers in North Hollywood Monday morning.
Los Angeles police responded to a shooting call just after 4:45 a.m. on the 1200 block of Victory Boulevard.
At one point during the incident an officer needs help call was put out, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed.
One person was in custody but police were still investigating whether shots were fired at officers.
Sky5 was over the scene of a parking garage near a Target store where the suspect was believed to be.
A perimeter was set up on St. Clair Avenue between Hamlin Street and Kittridge Street.
Laurel Canyon Boulevard was closed between Victory Boulevard and Hamlin Street. Victory Boulevard was also blocked between Laurel Canyon Boulevard and the 170 Freeway.
