I bought a storage unit & turned it into my tiny home – people can’t believe how big it is, it has a double bed & shower

A HOMEOWNER has revealed how she built a tiny home at the age of 60.

Anna revealed she turned a storage unit into her forever home as she said she always wanted to live in a small space.

Despite it’s tiny appearance she could still fit a double bed inside[/caption]

Taking to social media, she wrote: “I have dreamed of living tiny for a very long time.

“I designed the size and layout of my tiny-black-cow (cabin on wheels) … She is 9mx3m.

“Then at 60, with no building experience I picked up tools and completed the internal fit out on my own, with my own two hands… two years later she is done.”

The outside of the storage unit had been painted black and she used natural wooden frames to slot in the windows.

Inside, she had used a selection of different colours of wood to create her artistic ceiling.

Anna had kitted the tiny home out with her favourite possessions and the living room and kitchen area was decorated using black, red and natural wood for a cosy feel.

The kitchen had a large fridge freezer as well as a large sink and pantry cupboard.

She got herself a two-seater brown leather sofa to squeeze into the tiny front room along with an arm chair that she covered with a fur blanket and cushions to keep warm.

While her house looked tiny from the outside she’d also managed to put in a bedroom for herself with a double bed and plenty of storage.

The bathroom was also fully equipped with a toilet, sink and even a shower.

The post was a hit on the Facebook group, Small Space Living, where it got over 700 likes.

People were quick to take to the comments in awe of her tiny home.

One person wrote: “Gorgeous.”

Another commented: “Love it.”

“That is so cosy and beautiful ,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “Well done!”

“She is gorgeous. Congratulations!” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “It’s so beautiful. Great job.”
