DRIVERS can pick up a classy convertible sports car with an incredible top speed for a price that’s less than Britain’s cheapest new car.
The model was once one of the world’s most desired motors and would’ve cost around £114,000 in the year 1999.

The Aston Martin DB7 was one of the fastest road-going motors money could buy some 25 years ago.
The convertible, known as the Volante, was produced from 1999 to 2003 – with only 1,786 cars built – and was eventually replaced by the DB9.
Like all the DB models, it is named for David Brown, the legendary owner of Aston Martin between 1947 and 1972 who grew the brand into an international powerhouse.
The DB7 Volante was capable of a top speed of 165 mph and could hit 0-60mph in just 5.7 seconds.
Nowadays, one of these rare motors can be yours for a shockingly reasonable price.
We found an example on the Motors website for just £12,995 – a fair bit les than the Dacia Sandero, which currently ranks as the UK’s cheapest new car.
The DB7 we stumbled across has just 67,300 miles on the clock, and despite its age comes with air conditioning and heated front seats, along with its stylish leather seat upholstery and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Aston’s sports car rivals Lotus recently gave fans a sneak peek of their next sports car – and it could break decades of tradition.
The brand’s marketing chief, Qiao Xinyu, made the announcement on Chinese social media last week and posted a close-up teaser image of the rear end and spoiler.
Autocar suggests that the car will likely not be put into production – but is instead merely a forward-thinking concept.
