On Saturday, September 21st from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The Waldensian Heritage Museum will be celebrating 50 years of the museum building. Beginning in 1974 to present day.
Please join for this community celebration at the Waldensian Heritage Museum. The event will honor the volunteers from years past, have new items to see, and a huge birthday cake! The museum reflects Waldensian architecture and houses the largest collection of Waldensian artifacts in the United States. Explore the legacy of the Waldensian people as you retrace their journey through Europe in the Middle Ages to their settlement here in the new world. See where they worshiped, how they lived, made wine, baked bread, and kept their heritage alive. Research their ancestry in our library and archives and discover the price they paid for liberty – theirs and yours.
